The stay was great. They had everything I needed. The location was good for me as it was between West Glacier and East Glacier which took driving to Many Glacier and Two Medicine less crowded. The only downside was absolutely no service for AT&T cell. I would stay again!
The cabin & bath house were a wonderful little break for our Glacier Trip. Being able to grill our food & hang out on the covered porch with a glass of wine was nice. Only downside was the traffic noise of Hwy 2 when outside. The trains were rhythmic in their passing, so we became used to them & their sound lulled us to sleep. The sauna was amazing and really helped us relax after a long day in the park. We liked the location being able to go between West Glacier one day and East Glacier area easily the next day.
This property was perfect for our needs. We were close to Glacier National Park, and enjoyed taking a sauna after a long day of hiking. The cabin was comfortable!
Super clean, comfy bed and chairs, outside seating area, nice sauna.
Drawbacks! Too close to hwy. And trains
.
We are. 66 and 71, so having to walk to a separate bath house was not good. But the price was good
Had a good time overall and was comfortable to sleep in. Property has a full bathroom with sauna (which was AMAZING for after a long day of hiking). Wifi is good since there is no cell service (which was very expected due to the remoteness). Only downside that we wish we wouldâve known beforehand was that every few weeks the whole area (from East to West Glacier) loses power for a few hours. Thankfully we got power back the same day but it was a few hours later on our first day which didnât make check in super fun. There are ongoing forest fires going on near (not visibly so) the cabin, so if youâre planning a visit soon donât be alarmed. Other than that, nice place!
We enjoyed our stay. It is a unique cabin experience. Close to GP and several hiking trails. I used the sauna all 3 days - very nice! Plenty of hot water!
Mosquito netting/screen around the porch would be a nice addition-we weâre chased inside 1 night during our stay.
I would recommend to anyone that wants a stay away from the norm and in a more rustic setting.
Good spot close to Glacier and a lot of other fun sights.
Stayed here 3 nights and got to enjoy Glacier National Park, Stanton Lake, White fish lake, and completed a decent amount of hiking trails.
Gas grill on site ready to go with the cooking utensils if you need it.
My wife and I stayed here for part of our Honeymoon. The cabin was very comfortable and we were impressed with the quality of the shower and sauna rooms. We can tell that the host has put a lot of effort into this cabin. We didn't use the grill, but appreciated that it was there. The only downside of our stay was that the cabin is in between a railroad and highway, which made it a little hard to sleep at night.
A nice size cabin with everything you need to feel at home. The host treated us with a very good coffee, supply of drinkable water and a bottle of wine. Very clean, nice Finnish sauna and the bathroom located in the next door cabin, easy to get to. Close to Highway 2 and the railway traffic, you can get used to. The host extremely good in communication.
My fiance and I stayed at this property while we were in town for a friend's wedding. Varvara was an excellent communicator throughout the entire process. Varvara takes great care of the property and offered nice amenities. We had an excellent stay!
Cabin was comfortable, we slept well even though the cabin is between train tracks and a highway. We didnât realize the cabin had a separate bathroom, but the bathroom was nice with a sauna. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
This small cabin is right in between the east and west entrance to the park. It made accessing the park easy. The cabin was very clean and having the option to sauna after a long day of hiking was nice.
Be prepared to hear trains throughout the night and cars along the highway as this little cabin is a stones throw away from both. Besides that, it was perfect!
There is an address number on the main house 14395. The host could put a note to tell the travelers which way to go if they would stay in the side cabin. When itâs dark, itâs hard to see, itâs hard to find the correct place when there is no light. The side cabin WiFi did not work at all. The separate bathroom is inconvenient, particularly for Senior over 70 years old. Cellphone didnât work, we had to knock on other property to borrow a local phone. The property owner helped to find the correct cabin after 3 hours looking for the property and waiting for her. At least, we appreciate that we finally reached the owner through Expedia.
We enjoyed being able to come back to the cabin after a day of hiking and have a fire. The separate bathhouse wasn't an issue for us, though could be for some. There is traffic noise from the highway as well as from the trains. The hot/cold water cooler was a nice convenience in the cabin. The location was good, as it is basically centered between the east and west side of GNP. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
The cabin was a great place to stay for our trip. A quick 30min drive to Glacier and was perfectly in the middle of the west and east park entrances. The only downfall was the location to the highway and train tracks. While traffic at night on the road is minimal and train doesnât blow its horn it is rather close to both. But if you can sleep through that itâs perfect place to stay!
This is a very clean, well maintained location. So nice to be able to unplug and relax a bit. Yes, there is internet but it is a bit unstable. We stayed for 3 nights. The train tracks being close were not an issue. The highway traffic was louder! The bathroom is delightful. Do NOT let the fact that it is detached from the main cabin be a deterrent to you booking this location.
