Nice stay at Coast Hilltop Inn

We were there for WSU Family Weekend. The staff were very friendly and the facility was fairly clean. The breakfast was pretty good -- lots of variety. There was plenty of parking and really nice views from the rooms. They had a bar onsite and also a pool. It's an older facility, the beds weren't too comfortable, and we weren't able to get streaming services on the TV, despite it having a streaming remote. Not the end of the world. Overall, it was a nice stay.

Nice enough hotel, but horrific mattress!

This is a nice enough property, and the staff was friendly, but the bed we had was the worst I have ever slept in, and I usually sleep very well in hotels. The mattress was very hard and caused me severe back pain. After three nights of misery upon wakening, I knew I had to either go to the hassle of changing hotels or obtaining a mattress topper. Luckily when I called the front desk and explained the situation, they informed me that they had new mattresses on the ground level and could switch me to a room with one. Although it was a real pain to have to gather up all of our stuff and move it down to the first floor, there was no other choice, so we did this. I did have a good night sleep on the new mattress. If you stay here, I would make very, very sure that you have a room that has had the mattress updated!
