We had a wonderful trip! A comfy and cozy base camp for our adventures. The hot tub was a trip highlight. Full kitchen amenities, brand new appliances, comfortable beds, communicative host, easy check in/out, etc. Only issue we had was figuring out the door code. Would happily stay here again!
Getting in was a little challenging. We got in on the third try. Everything else was good except couldnât find kitchen towels. No problems. It was a comfortable cabin. Reallly enjoyed our stay
Cabin was clean. Everything was fine except the K-cup coffee maker didnât work and leaked everywhere and the code for the door didnât work after the first day.
Our accommodations were acceptable. There was a faint smell of gas when first entering the cabin, but quickly dissipated.
When using the dryer, we noticed that the venting was not secured properly and the lent trap was grossly compacted.
We took care of cleaning the lint trap. We did leave a note for the cleaners.
The toilet seat still did not stay on correctly even after someone was sent out to fix it.
Other than those issues, everything else was acceptable. We did not spend much time in the cabin because we were out early and returned after dark.
the house was surprisingly bigger than expected. The grill had no propane and was rusting, we had to rewash some of the dishes and the key pad check in did not work as well as the television. The location was great and we were able to see elk in our backyard!
Our family of 6 loved staying at this cabin. We arrived to 40 (yes, 40!) elk in the yard! There was plenty of space inside for our kids (5, 7, 9, & 12) as well as outside to run and play. The deck and patio were great to relax on. Truly, this was perfect!!
Perfect for quiet relaxation. Ad says classic mountain view...but there is almost no mountain view at all. Easy walk to downtown, great quietneighbors.
The cabin is very old which isnât a problem on its own. I like vintage. However, we didnât get hot water in the only shower for 3 days. I reported the problem Sunday at 9:00 am, but didnât hear back from the property owner until after 3:00. The problem wasnât fixed until later on Monday.
We discovered on Sunday evening that the TV didnât work. I reported it on Monday. It wasnât resolved until Thursday afternoon.
The mattresses in the full beds were 4â thick and very uncomfortable. One of the pillows was actually less than an inch thick and was useless as a pillow.
This could be an adorable cabin with a good amount of TLC.
This cabin was exactly what we wanted and needed! The cabin was clean and had everything necessary to make a week long stay as comfortable as being at home. Will definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone visiting Estes Park!
The location was awesome. We really only spent a few hours in evening at house and to sleep so worked out great. House could use some upgrades, but wouldnât keep us from staying there again.
This property has tons of potential! Unfortunately, the grounds were messy outside (some garbage, broken tiles on the picnic table, ripped cushions on the deck furniture, no plants/flowers - just weeds - in the flower boxes), and the inside wasnât as clean as it should have been. We were impressed that the property manager at Vacasa was super responsive though, and even made a stop at the house to make things right! The cabin is old, and we knew that going in - but it really COULD be spiffed up! If the owner of this property realized the potential and put a few dollars into the place, they would get a LOT of âbang for their buck!â
Great neighborhood within walking distance of town if you donât want to deal with parking. And EP is a great spot with a river walk and good food (Go eat at The Rock Inn Mountain Tavern if you have the chance!) and parks and lots to do out the back door!
The house was fine for 2 people , there is only tiny bathroom so might not work for more people. The area was fine , we saw deer every morning and wild Turkeys a couple of mornings. The property is a short drive to town. The process renting ot was simple
The location was fantastic, it's incredibly convenient to everywhere in Estes Park and served as a great base camp for exploring the surrounding area. That said, the cabin could probably stand some updates and the countertops in particular were in somewhat rough shape.
On the whole we enjoyed our stay though and we're quite pleased with the experience.
The number one plus is location. A quiet neighborhood with an ample lot, elk roaming the property day and night, close to downtown and very close to Rocky Mountain National Park. There is ample room (we were three) with very comfortable and clean beds. The single bathroom is not ideal, but workable. The kitchen is large, appliances (except disposal) worked well, but the cabinets are overstocked, leaving no space for a small food pantry. Also missing is a table suitable to seat three (or four) for meals. The living room is very comfortable with a recliner and couch with two reclining sections. The Roku TV blocks most of the premium offerings (we casted from our own devices). I had two concerns with the house/cabin. The shower, although large with good water pressure, had a very dirty looking floor. It needs resurfacing. Most concerning is security. The three entry doors all lack dead bolts and there are no window coverings on any of the living room and kitchen windows, the rooms facing the street. My overall rating is still positive. The house is better suited for the use of one bedroom (because of the one bathroom), but workable with both bedrooms occupied.
