Very short drive into Estes business district. Friendly helpful staff. Very quiet and short walk to Lake Estes with walking trail. Bikes sort of ‘ancient’ so did not use them. Noticed carpeting around pool was very dirty and not conducive to walking barefoot/fungal infections. Overall a good place to stay—clean comfortable beds which is key👍

The room was nice with a couch, chair, and ottoman. The bed was good. They offer free Dvds to watch. There is also free popcorn! I would stay here again!

Very well kept for a facility of its age. The outdoor activities area was tremendous and clean. Overall, the ambiance and amenities cannot be compared to the new lodging offerings.

We love here! We stayed for 3 nights to visit Rocky Mountain NP. It was so easy to access the park, nice dining options. We went to Safeway at Estes Park and used the BBQ grill at there. The breakfast doesn’t have a lot of options but enough for us. The room is clean and comfortable. My daughter loves their free popcorn! I strongly recommend here!

I have been to Murphy's Resort numerous times, and this time was by far way below par with any other time we have stayed there. We for some reason got put into room as if I had a pet there for the stay. I'm guessing pet rooms don't get upgraded as often. By the way, we didn't bring a pet with us. The room didn't have an air conditioner, but instead had a window unit that was on the front window. So, if we wanted privacy we couldn't get much air out of the unit because the drapes covered the unit. It was a hard night of sleep! The other rooms that we have stayed in were in better shape.

Not the best in the neighborhood of Lake Estes

Stayed one night at this lodge. The room was clean but had a stink. This place looks quite old. The back door lock didn’t work which we discovered pretty late in the night. The Wi-Fi was slow. I travel worldwide so in comparison with other places the price for a lodge like this one is steep. I guess you pay for the location. People at the front desk were friendly.
