Sadly very dirty.

Had higher hopes for the property. Check in person was nice, but said she didn’t have access tonthe computer, so we had extra steps to check in. Biggest issue was room was extremely dirty, including dog hair and human hair, and areas of the bathroom had mold. They have spent time and money on branded amenities, and tendy looking decor in the spirit of redurbed motels, but need to spend more on cleaning and mold prevention.

For the price of these rooms we had expected a lot more. The door to our room didnt hang properly and had to be slammed to get it to close. Even in an end room, the walls are paper thin and noise kept us up. Its also disappointing the outpost is so far away from the Trailborn with amenities. There is truly nothing around. Its exciting to see an old motel be rennovated and brought back to life, but I think the prices are much too expensive comoared to other options in the area.

This hotel is nicely updated and much fresher feeling than the other motel type stays in the area. Unfortunately the pillows on the bed weren’t comfortable which impacted my sleep a lot (bummer!) - they were just too thick. The rooms near the stairwells could have better seals around the doors for soundproofing but with a bit of white noise sound was not a problem.

I booked the “mountain view” room and was under the impression that we it would also have an outdoor patio area apart of the room (based on the photos) but was given a lower level room with no outdoor area and a view of the second building on the lot and no mountains. I attempted to bring this to the front desks attention that I paid for an upgraded room with a view and she didn’t have any kind of explanation. I asked if there would be a different room available that aligns with what I paid for but she wouldn’t provide that either. Overall I am very disappointed with how this whole situation was handled. If I knew that my “upgraded view” would be the back of another building I wouldn’t have paid the up charge or even booked here in general because the room didn’t impress me either. Definitely not worth the price. The room was dirty, the floor was warped to where I would trip in some places and you can hear every bit of noise from neighbors/or outside. Very disappointing.

I was worried because if some strange reviews about bugs in bathroom and poor condition of the rooms. I don’t agree at all. The room was very clean. Bath tub / shower was impeccable and the front desk team was amazing.
