Staff was excellent and the room was nice. My only complaint was the AC in the hallways did not work and it was really hot. The pool was very cold. I feel bad for the house keeping staff that have to work so hard in that heat. They were all very nice and welcoming and the front desk staff quickly brought the extra stuff we requested.

Poor experience, disappointing

Knowing it’s a La Quinta I probably shouldn’t have expected much. The pictures looked good online but in person it felt old and dirty. A really loud fridge with a strange smell. The bathroom smelled like mold. A kitchenette with absolutely NOTHING in it, no fork, glasses, plates, or even dish soap. The curtains didn’t even close fully. Woke up with a burning throat, just overall felt gross staying there.

wifi is not available on the third floor, we asked to be switched to the second floor, but the Wi-Fi signal in the room was still poor. when room service was required, was surprised to see the bed was not prepared but only the trash was removed.

Found out we were having a granddaughter.

Although most everything was relatively clean and acceptable, we did have some concerns. Cobwebs and spiderwebs in the room and being a pet friendly hotel some of the furniture was scratched and frayed. my suggestion would be to designate certain rooms for pets and other rooms 100% pet free. We stayed in a room with a king bed that was a suite. We had split units for AC and heating that both worked wonderfully. The complementary breakfast in the morning was fantastic. We loved the fresh baked cookies every evening between 7 and 9 PM. The best part of our stay was definitely our interactions with the staff.
