Very basic. No frills.
Good location, close to U of O.
I didn’t even stay. I asked on the phone to check in early as I work nights I needed a place to stay in the morning. The person at the front desk said yes no problem. When I arrived at the property the person at the front desk said she had nothing available and I couldn’t check in.

Too noisy. Like sleeping in the middle of the highway
Front desk staff on check in was nice. But it went downhill from there. When we got in the room and shut the door, it wouldn’t close completely. No amount of pulling would get it to close fully so we didn’t feel entirely safe at night. When we sat down on the bed, we noticed a stain coming through. The sheets hadn’t been changed from the people in front of us and the sheets smelled strongly of pee and body odor. When we called, they said we would get new sheets and they were never brought out. There were strange people lurking outside at all hours. I wouldn’t recommend staying here at all. It’s way too expensive.
My only compliments are the booking/finance manager. She works with Expedia well and she’s very nice. Maintenance is also done very well. Cleaning crew is above average. They’re not immune to mistakes but they try hard if you’re nice.
But.
Other guest service staff refused to schedule me for housekeeping next day when I made the schedule request late at night. But told me they were doing it. Threw out notes I left for morning manager asking for housekeeping and stuff even though I gave her a tip. They refused to check on people making noise in the parking lot, partying until 2:30am.
Then later I got yelled at by an unfamiliar management person when trying to explain my situation from that morning. Instead of normal communication it seems like we’ve resigned to “we won’t interact.” If I stay here anymore I’ll know I have to bring my own bedding. And ear plugs. It’s not as safe as it used to be. Just because guest service staff are not as responsible about the property.
Stephanie is the most negligent employee I have ever encountered in a motel. Every single thing is implicitly “no” or that’s your fault. You want housekeeping scheduled for tomorrow? “No that’s your fault. You should’ve scheduled it yesterday.”
They refuse to get people to stop partying in the parking lot after midnight. Even when I paid her to enforce the rules. I had to call the police instead.
this place used to be wonderful, and now it just plainly sucks because of the coordination management.
