Over all stay. Started with a delightful young lady who checked us in. The cabin was a surprise. It was modern, had all the amenities, a comfortable bed with fluffy pillows. It was spotlessly clean! Did not disappoint. The WiFi was a bit sketchy, but you don’t come to the forest to look at the internet!
Charming cabin in the heart of a redwood forest. Good bathroom and kitchen, though the bedroom was a trifle small with not much place for luggage. Would have appreciated a dimmer on the super bright overhead light. But other than those details, we enjoyed our stay in Trinidad.

Cabins are very cute and clean. Staff very nice. View from back Dec was lovely. Common areas of the grounds were somewhat unkept.

Absolutely incredible. The forest is so beautiful and it feels like pictures don’t do it justice. The cabins are clean and cozy. We will absolutely stay here again.

Pretty basic but clean. Bed was very hard and the heater didn’t shut off even when turned way down.
We stayed in a very cozy cabin. Staff was friendly and available on site. The grounds were well maintained. We look forward to going back and staying longer!

A wonderful step back in time!
We have stayed here before and wanted to return as it is such a lovely way to get the feeling of camping in the redwoods without the hassle of real camping. There are so few places like this left, as places such as these have been replaced with cookie cutter hotels and motels that are all the same.We had a larger cabin this time which made our stay even better. The beds were comfortable, the towels were extra fluffy and there were plenty of plates, mugs and utensils. The refrigerator, unfortunately was way too small. If you had the 6 people the cabin could have slept, it would not have done at all. The one other draw back was there was nowhere to put clothes. Since we did not use the two twin bed we put all our clothes on them. Never the less, we prefer this charming place over all the fancy hotels we have stayed it!!!

Stayed three nights here in this cabin. It was very cozy, clean, and quiet. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen appliances were smaller than expected and there was only a toaster and small microwave, which made storage of cold food and cooking tricky.
Check in was fantastic- easy and very informative. I stayed myself and my dog and was delighted to discover that they had a fenced in dog park area and many stations set up around with doggie bags in case you didn’t bring your own. I loved the little cabin I stayed in. The bed was very comfortable, it was very quiet and cozy sleeping surrounded by trees and a light drizzle. Check out was also a breeze.

Amazing! Would recommend an upgrade on the beds. But other than that, it was great
This was great! Clean and quiet and I'm the Redwoods. Close to town so we had choices for dining and gas and other essentials. Trinidad is a beautiful little town.
Definitely in a compound community. Nothing to the location just a place to stay. Hot water takes a while and when it does its like 500 degrees, definitely potential for injury.
