This cabin has everything you need to enjoy your stay. The hosts do a great job in accommodating and thinking of the small things to make you feel at home. Close to Eureka if you want to go to town, but has all you need if you want to stay in for the visit!!
Wont lie the drive to the house males you wonder bc the first couple houses arent in the greatest shape but dont let that detour you. This little cabin is amazing and we will definitely be coming back. It was very clean and you literally have everything you could need but your food. Hot tub was clean and so relaxing. The maintenance was on top of everything we had our batteries run out on the door lock one morning and we called and they were there within minutes. We definitely recommend this cabin for family's or couples.
Check in was very easy. Acknowlegement was right away.
There were just the two of us in this 3 bdr house. There were plenty of towels and essentials for the bathroom. There were also some supplies in the kitchen. Although, we chose not to cook.
The fire pit was a wonderful addition early in the morning while having coffee and the hot tub was very relaxing after a long day of walking.
The only negative was the neighborhood seems a little sketchy when driving in. However, we did not experience any issues.
Yes, we would highly recommend to friends and would be happy to stay here again.
We very much enjoyed our time here! It was peaceful and we spent a lot of time just reading books out on the big, lovely deck! There was nothing that we lacked for supplies.
Thank you for the memorable stay for our ladiesâ weekend getaway!
The pictures donât do it justice. This place is awesome. A hot tub chillen at the top of the trees was super amazing!! We will come back this fall to see the beautiful fall leaves out back.
Nicely kept, LOT of carvings of bears, comfortable beds, lot of fans, on-site hot tub, TV with lots of streaming channels, and hundreds of DVDs, as well as games. Well-stocked kitchen (but, sadly, no wine-bottle opener!) . Short drive to Eureka Springs. Overall quite positive experience.
Hot tub was good. However, The fire pit as well as the gas barbecue grill did not work for us. Also, you cannot swim at the Rec center as stated in the book located inside of the cabin. We went to swim and were turned away saying we didnât have âprivileges!â Very disappointing especially with young kids. The only place we were âallowedâ
To swim at was a VERY small pool at a motel . Lastly⊠There were 4 remotes in which I felt like you had to be a rocket scientist to figure out! We finally gave up and just watch movies which thankfully there were a lot of. Overall I would say we enjoyed our stay there âŠjust had issues that could have easily been avoided.
This property is just as described. Lots of room and the outside deck is really nice with a great view. The only thing I would warn potential guests of is that there isn't much room for parking. I can't imagine room for more than one vehicle. This cabin was perfect for our needs and had all the necessities for cooking.
I do not recommend this property if you need working internet or want cable TV. My wife and I stayed in this property for a short get away but we both needed to be able to access email/internet in order to stay on top of things at work. Internet access was a key requirement in our choice of where to stay. This property advertised that it had working internet and cable TV. When we arrived on Wednesday evening, we discovered there was no working internet and no working TV (Cox is the internet and cable TV provider). Sent an email (thank goodness I had cell phone service to send the email) to management and they responded late the next day (Thursday) that they had contacted Cox that morning but had gotten no response yet. The property management also offered a $10 per night compensation or a move to another property with internet. I inquired about the property they proposed to move us to with working internet and never heard anything else from management during the rest of our stay. The internet was not working when we left on Sunday. Difficult to believe that Cox never responded with at least an estimated schedule for the repair.
In addition to the internet not working, there is no working fireplace inside or fire pit outside so if that is something you like when staying in 'a cabin' this is not the place for you. There was a propane fire pit on the back deck but it would not light. The propane was probably empty. Checking that the propane fire pit works seems like an easy thing to check when preparing for a new guest arrival but then checking that the TV and internet work also seems easy to check but that obviously wasn't checked either. Overall, I would have to rate the property as comfortable enough but if you need internet, want cable TV, or a working fire pit you should consider staying somewhere else.
