It was such a great experience. The breakfast is very nice. Our room is spotless and the location is just amazing. 7 minutes walk to the train station, 3 minutes walk from the old town wall, and everything is walking distance, without the noise of the town during the night. It’s a great experience. The stuff is just amazing, way more helpful and professional than the guy in the tourist office!

Very nice hotel in a great location. However, the website mentions a laundry station, which the hotel does not actually have. They explained that the information online was not updated. They do offer laundry service, but at a very high cost, so we had to go to a nearby laundromat, which took some valuable time out of our day. The food was very good on the first day. We ordered the same dishes the next day, but the burger was undercooked and there were tiny bones in the spaghetti. Other than that, it was a very good stay overall.

New hotel was very modern, clean and staff was very nice. Within walking distance of the old town and we found an excellent restaurant nearby (Vinho e Noz). Only complaint was shower drain wasn’t unclogged and soap wasn’t refilled after reporting the problem.

I asked to cancel my reservation one week before the day I booked due to my travel plan had changed but the hotel did not cancel it. This is really horrible! I have think twice before use hotels.com in the future. The leased to said the hotel partners you working with might not be good.

Convenient location for our one night stay. Mostly picked for location and ease of parking. Nice looking hotel but lacking in warmth and welcoming from staff. We were told we could not sit in the tooftop pool area without purchasing fiod or drink from the bar, but really no public lounge area in the hotel that is not restaurant space. Room was clean, fridge in the room was not plugged in so check that if you are staying

We chose this facility because of the easy 10 minute walk from the train station. A five min walk to the old town. The facility looks as if it was upgraded recently and it is beautiful. The bed had a 14 inch quality deep foam mattress. Seriously, it was the best night’s rest since arriving in Europe over a month ago, hands down. Breakfast was great. If I could add another star if I could.

The hotel is in good condition in general. The rooms are clean. We had booked two rooms and they assigned first-floor rooms to us. The first night we discovered a colony of ants in one of the rooms which had entered our bags and clothes. The staff was very helpful in assisting us with cleaning our stuffs and assigned another room to us. Apart from this bad experience, the rest of the stay was good.

Hey it's a Hilton. Modern, spacious, nice lobby. There is a small area where it is espresso only and 3.5 euros a pod. Seems a bit much. Why not free for hotel guests? The coffee in the room is also espresso pods only and they are very stingy passing you more if two are not enough. There is nothing much interesting around the hotel- no shops, bars, restaurants. We had to walk at least ten minutes to get some interest. The front desk staff were professional and helpful. By some HUGE mistake, Expedia send to the hotel a message for an "accessible" room, that is, for a disabled person. What a nightmare. The bathroom is flat out dangerous. Water from the shower goes all over the floor AWAY from the drain. There are two shower heads, one I preferred to use sitting, but if you made a mistake the overhead shower pours out freezing cold water. We never did completely figure out the light switches. There is no obvious switch in the bathroom. There are switches on either side of the bed which operate all sorts of lights. It was impossible for us to figure out which switch worked which lights. The hotel is fine but I would certainly choose a different place next time.

I really wanted to give this hotel five stars but I felt that a couple of things let it down! Firstly I want to start with the positive! I couldn’t fault the amazing front desk staff! They were friendly, welcoming, provided us with useful information on the surrounding areas and attractions! Check in was three but our room wasn’t ready for us until 3.45pm! We were located on the top floor,4th, in a superior king! It was a welcome surprise to discover that we had a balcony with a small table and two chairs! Our room didn’t face the busy road, we had read other reviews about rooms facing the road being quite noisy! We were at the opposite end of the fourth floor to where the rooftop pool and bar were located. Also a fitness room was on our floor. The two elevators were extremely fast and efficient. The buffet style breakfast that we included in our roommate was excellent, five stars! An excellent selection of hot and cold options! I enjoyed the custom omelette station where a chef would make you either fried eggs or an omelette. They also made fresh pancakes! My negatives would be not having slippers as advertised in our room description and the room being a little bit dirty! Smears on the bathroom tiles and floors and on top of the garbage can. Lovely hotel, great parking and easy walk about 10 minutes to the old town through a beautiful park. Highly recommend
