I am writing to formally express my serious concerns regarding the hotel your agency recommended from your approved list for my recent trip.
Unfortunately, the property proved to be unsafe and unsuitable—particularly for senior travelers.
We were unable to sleep all night, due to some guest being loud, fighting, and pacing along side our room.
No one, nor the front desk did anything to call the policy and report these incidents. We did not called, we feared for our lives.
Someone was brave enough to finally call in the morning; the police came and arrested some guests.
Some of the rooms closed off with yellow tape with yellow tape, as if someone had been shot. This is not acceptable.
Given that your agency presents these hotels as vetted and appropriate accommodations, I was very disappointed to encounter such dangerous conditions. I trusted your recommendation and reasonably expected that basic safety standards—especially those affecting older guests—would be met.
I strongly urge your agency to reassess this property immediately and remove it from your recommended list until all safety concerns have been properly addressed. No traveler, particularly seniors, should be placed in a potentially harmful environment due to a trusted recommendation.
I would appreciate confirmation that this matter will be reviewed and that appropriate action will be taken.
