Great Stay Let Down by Frequent Power Outages

The rooms were clean & the service by staff was respectful, courteous, & hospitable. Breakfast & Dinner options were good & delicious. It was a shame that during my stay there were numerous power outages.

Hotel room and property are clean and in good condition. Amenities are good. Lot of new constructions around the property. Ram mandir is about 4 KM from the hotel. At this time, there are no nearby restaurants in walkable distance. Food in hotel restaurant is ok.

This property claim - family suit with temple view . It shows a bit tip from very very very far - not worth money. Food service and quality is outstanding. Staff is very nice.

Let's start with staff, they gave excellent service. Food was excellent, on our booking it stated we can buy breakfast for 500 rupees each person. At restaurant we were changed 750 rupees plus tex Total was almost 1800 rupees for 2 people. We didn't say anything to restaurant manger but went to front desk. They told us it's if we pay in advance, we didn't argue since breakfast was excellent. I think it's miss leading to customers. We did see some mosquitoes on our first night stay, but they took care of it. On our next stay after returning from Varanasi there was not any mosquitoes. Hotel was clean, people were very pleasant and food was excellent. The price was little higher. Srounding area was not pleasant which I understand it was not bothering us. I personally think the price was little higher than what it should be. We stayed on 12 th. and 14 th. Night.

My flight was cancelled by spicejet on Tuesday February 25, 2025 due to over crowded people in Ayodhya, I have messaged the hotel if they can postpone my hotel night for one day , hotel refused to do so . I have lost $180.00 USD hotel said no changes allowed , I told them it was not my fault still they refused . SpiceJet messed up my trip I couldn’t go to KHUM MELA . And lost so much money ….

Ira by Orchid Ayodhya was an awesome choice our family made for the Ayodhya trip. We had a wonderful time. All the staff at this property are amazing and excellent across the spectrum from Front Desk to House Keeping to Restaurant and the Conceirge. The guidance and help offered to our family from US was just very good, kind and sincere. The staff make you feel at home. Highly recommend this Property for those visting Ayodhya from India and from abroad or US.
