“Not all that glitters is gold”. The lobby area and ballroom give the impression of a 4 star hotel. In fact the hotel is shabby and way overdue for renovations.
Room: Utterly basic. The bed was ridiculous. It was so uncomfortable. They advertise free internet but then tell you you have to be a Bonvoy member. We got a note under the door explaining they were having a plumbing issue and would be shutting off the water from 11pm until the next morning? No comp was offered. The room telephones are antiques and they didn’t work reliably. I asked for a wake up call and did not get it. They advertise “Smart” tv but the only thing it offers is netflix and there is no mirroring screen capability.
The night I stayed there was a big wedding and kids were blocking the halllways playind soccer with shoes littering the hallway making it difficult to get past them. A hotel employee was talking to them and did not ask them to go play somewhere with less traffic. Lines are long at the front desk and the restaurant is barely mediocre. There are no bellhops or people outside to assist you.

The good news was that once you could get them customer service folks were professional, courteous and helpful. The hotel itself is just a dump.
Overall a hugely disappointing experience for a hotel that charges over 200 bucks per night.
