Exorbitantly overpriced, taking advantage of a shortage of rooms in Fargo due to multiple events. It was uncomfortable to be in--as it was lived in and was as if the residents cleaned the fridge and then just left for a few days. Noisy due to the unit above in an old building. Lighting was not good, has an old building smell. The dwellers had decorated it very cute and for a personal apartment--fine. But for a VRBO for 400 a night: absolutely not. I ended up not staying for the duration of my booking and moved to a hotel further out.
From the outside and hallway I was a little skeptical about what I booked until I entered and saw the character and warmth. Hardwood floors, cool furniture, very functional kitchen and bathroom. 10 minute walk to downtown Broadway area. 10 minute drive to NDSU. Definitely recommend and Noah (property manager) was very responsive and helpful.
Arrived just after checking time found the apartment recently used with one bed stripped but bedding was available. Temperature/heat controlled by HOA by hot water with no thermostats available. If you enjoy a cool sleep its perfect. Kitchen stays about 68F living room 65F. Had a good time with family and outside of having to use blankets when sitting it was fine. VRBO agent needs to pre-check this the next time before paying cleaning fees.
Location and decoration were great but the apartment was a bit cluttered with ornaments and the ownerâs property. Although having lots of condiments, food (and even toiletries) available to âuse a little, leave a littleâ we felt a bit like Goldilocks in someone elseâs house. There was little space to empty suitcases or store anything.
Loved the sunroom but the weather was to cold but would love to see it in the summertime. Loved the layout. I love old buildings and this one is really cool and it was fun to look around and discover things around the building.
My Mum and I were visiting my brother who now lives in Fargo and the apartment was a fantastic space for us to have some down time between visits. There was plenty of space for both of us and it was great to be able to have somewhere to call home. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed having access to different TV channels. We were also a short walk to a couple of coffee shops. Noah was a very attentive host, who regularly checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed which was appreciated. Check in was also easy and we loved the keyless entry. Just a note for visitors that you will be carrying your suitcase up a couple of flights of stairs. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would return again to this apartment!
We visited Fargo with family. We could play cards around the dining room. There were many unique details that we noticed; the hand made soap in the bathroom, lovely exfoliating body wash, North Dakota puzzle, Fargo art work, Google clock in hallway, hues of blue and gold throughput the condo and an awesome TV!
