Our experience at the Sleep Inn & Suites Fargo Medical Center was mixed. We had two separate one‑night reservations two weeks apart. For the first stay, the hotel was overbooked and had no room available for us despite our reservation, which was frustrating. During the second stay, we did receive our room, and it was mostly clean, though our puppy found a fake fingernail on the floor. The heater worked well but was missing its cover, and one of the drawers near the microwave wouldn’t stay closed. Breakfast was average. The eggs and potatoes were decent, but the sausage was dry and the biscuits were hard. Overall, the stay had some positives, but the combination of the overbooking issue, cleanliness concerns, and maintenance problems made the experience less than ideal.

The girl at the front desk was great and quickly fixed whatever we were needing, room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The room was disappointing though, considering it had a good rating. It didn’t look like it was newly renovated like it said. Upon entering our room for the first time, the door wasn't even completely closed...strange, never experienced that before. There were little things like the remote control for the tv was missing, tv was small, only had enough towels for one person and some of the towels were stained and quite grungy looking, ice machine was out of order and water dispenser was out of order in the breakfast room. All things considering it wasn’t the worst hotel we stayed in, but having a long day of travelling its not what you were wanting to deal with.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Location in relation to local medical centers was excellent. Breakfast was adequate, with some hot items (potatoes, sausage, eggs) and seating plentiful. Cons: NOT a "soundproofed" hotel. You hear everything on the floor above and below you, and out in the hallway. Walking, dropping things, snoring......you hear it all. If you need absolute quiet, this is not your place.

I am very impressed with the staff at this hotel. I had two non refundable nights booked. There was a blizzard and I could not make it for the first night.
