This cabin on the lake comes as advertised. Roomy kitchen space in both units but no dishwasher. Large outdoor gas grill worked great. Mitten Housing was excellent to deal with and very responsive.
Very nice property and great location on Fife Lake. We rented two of the condos and they were both very clean and well organized. Easy check-in / check-out process. The only reason we're not giving it 5 stars is because the boat they advertised was no longer available to rent. Overall though, we had a wonderful time!
The house was good and clean. Had 2 different units but they are not connected. The boat deck wasnât strong enough though. A plank broke when one of my guests was standing on it and hurt his leg. Otherwise we had a great stay.
While the view is lakefront, the front of the units face and are just feet off of a very busy street. Noisy all day and night. No easy access into water at the unit. Access to upper second unit is via entrance into an unclean landing then a dozen of not so friendly steps. Remodeling work that has been done leaves many questions. Certainly don't recommend this one !!
We were very excited to spend our July 4 weekend with friends at this beach house. Little did we know or realize this 5 bedroom house is actually two separate apartments. The main apartment, one with balcony is where we spend most of the time. This apartment did not have a washing machine which was okay. But no dishwasher was a surprise for the price. But the worst was yet to come. After we left the apartment, I got an email that we broke a papasan chair. I was surprised since we had moved it out of the way to sit on floor and play cards. We asked for pictures to confirm that this chair was not previously broken. To my shock, the property manager shared pictures that appeared to have been from the cloud/server indicating there was a camera in the family room. We were all shocked to see this and asked mitten house property person to clarify. He stopped responding to me ever since and had already charged me for the cost of a new chair with cushion. I asked him to take out the cost of the cushion at the least, he wonât and will not respond. We filed a case with Vrbo. It was extremely stressful dealing with this property manager and privacy invasion after spending a lot of money for a two night stay.
