This is indeed a cute little A-frame cottage in a great location for visiting Old Sturbridge Village. The kitchen and bathroom have been recently remodeled, which is nice. That said, the furnishings are a bit scant. Specifically, more lamps and seating would be nice. The kitchen has enough dishes and glasses, but don't plan on cooking. We had a simple breakfast there, and it was fine. Two mini-splits were adequate for cooling, as it was hot weather while we were there. The description could have noted that the one bathroom is downstairs, and the two bedrooms are upstairs. The stairs are narrow and steep, though adequately lighted at night. Older visitors may take that into consideration before booking. We left our luggage downstairs and only slept upstairs, as there was nowhere to put anything in the bedrooms. Visitors might want to bring their own pillows, as we did. The host was very nice and tried his best to help when we had questions or problems.
