We had a fine stay, but just canât give 4 stars for a variety of reasons. The rating doesnât allow for a .5 rating, or we would have given a 3.5. The location was a 5 star for sure. The house is not terrible, or excellent, a little above average.
Our group came to flagstaff to check out the Lowell observatory and explore downtown. The location of this rental was perfect for both of those things, with downtown within walking distance.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. This property is a lovely little house. It is located within walking distance of the main dining & shopping locations in downtown flagstaff. The property was clean and well-stocked
The house was older, but okay except for the hot upper floor. (no AC) The main flaw was the curb appeal--torn screen on the front door, and rotting fence with paint coming off gave a bad 1st impression. That said, we could walk to everything downtown, which was very nice. The response to our questions was very good.
This cottage was clean and easily accessible. Itâs a lovely cottage with many vintage features. The property does need some updating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The on-line description should include the fact that the second bedroom is accessible via narrow stairs and the second bathroom is quite small. It should be noted that there is no A/C downstairs.
The cottage was thoughtfully supplied with necessities.
All in all, it was a good experience and we rate our stay as 5 star.
This home is a precious step back into time with its retro tile, beautiful arched ceiling and original wood floors. Difficult to find a historic 2- bedroom/2-bath house near NAU, this location is perfect for R&R, next to Thorpe Park and walking distance to the best scenes in downtown Flagstaff and the forest. Owners are kind and respectful providing a comfortable stay - rest like home, but cooler! Thank you!
