This apt is in a perfect location! So quiet! Itâs just across the bridge from all the sites but the neighborhood is very friendly with great restaurants a few steps away. The apt is as advertised. Very comfortable and everything worked great. What a treat to have 2 full bathrooms! The check in/out is super easy.
This apartment is a truly fantastic location. Itâs so easy to bop in and out to all the things you want to see and do. Since itâs on the 1st floor- only 1 flight of stairs- itâs very fast to get in and out, but the apartment is also quite dark for that reason. Itâs definitely bare bones in terms of kitchen equipment etc⊠this is not the apartment to rent if you want to be cooking! If youâre looking for just a place to sleep in a good location for exploring this is a pretty good choice.
What a wonderful location for a spacious apartment in the heart of Florence, just over the Arno, close to both Santa Croce area and the Boboli Gardens. Comfortable beds, nice to have two showers/bathrooms when traveling with our family of four.
We had a great stay. The apartment was in a wonderful location. It is an easy walk to many museums and the Boboli garden. The apartment is also close to great gelato and a wine window. The amenities were very nice. The only drawback was construction going on in the adjacent apartment and the crew started work early in the morning, making it noisy in one of the bedrooms. The host was very nice and helpful, yet it would be helpful if there was a more automated way to access getting the key for check-in.
The apartment was ideally situated for the historic quarter--very easy walk to all the sites we wanted to see. It was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. We had two couples staying there and it worked very well. The host was pleasant, helpful, and easy to work with. One tip: be sure you get instructions on how to use the heating/air conditioning units in each room!
The apartment was clean and very modern. Excellent bathrooms excellent kitchen could have used more glassware. The host accommodated us for an early check-in, which was excellent.
This is a lovely spacious apartment just steps away from restaurants, gelato, coffee, groceries and unique artisan shops on the Oltrarno side of the city. Literally across the street from Bardini villa and gardens if you want some quiet time and beautiful Piazzale Michelangelo is a 10 minute walk for incredible views of the city. We loved our stay here.
The coffee maker did not work and the host did not return my texts after assuring us to contact her if we needed anything. Lack of amenities such as additional paper towels, directions for washer. The location was very, very good.
This was my first visit to Florence & I canât wait to come back. This apt is one of the best VRBOs Iâve ever stayed in. The descriptions & pics are accurate. Itâs comfortable, quiet & a perfect location. Itâs close to sights, restaurants, grocery stores & shopping. Go to Za Za for dinner- itâs amazing- but make a reservation. The beds, pillows & bedding are 10/10. The host was friendly & communicated well. Do not look further- book this apt.
The apartment is exactly as described and is in a perfect location. Very easy walking distance to grocery, restaurants, and all of the popular tourist sites. We stayed for five days and unfortunately needed to purchase supplies that were not available in the apartment, including paper towels and laundry detergent. Aside from that minor inconvenience, everything was wonderful and we would not hesitate to stay here again! Highly recommend.
A nice, modern unit with good space. 2 large rooms. Only negative on the unit would be the guest room tv didnât work. Quiet area away from the chaos on the other side of river but easy walking to everything you need. The wording of unit said easy ramp access to unit, but it is actually stairs so may confuse someone who books thinking they have no stair access. No fault of the unit, but there is some noisy construction directly in front of place during daytime including scaffolding blocking views
Initially had a problem with the AC unit in the main bedroom. Issue was promptly addressed and repaired. The neighborhood was quiet and was some of the best sleep my wife has had in years. Unit was located on the other side of the river but was just a quick short walk to find oneself in the middle of thousands of tourists and things to do. Overall the property was a great fit for our family. We really enjoyed staying there.
I traveled with my 2 teens and we loved this place. It was just outside of the chaotic downtown but so easy to access the downtown area. The apartment was very clean and just perfect for our 5-day stay. I would absolutely stay here again.
This apartment was very nice and roomy. Close to the river and an easy walk to all the tourists spots. Only negative is it can be a bit noisy at night on the street
The location was great. However, the steep stairs to the first floor apartment was challenging for two 75 year old women with luggage. Also, some of the rooms were smaller than we expected. In addition paying the local tax was a real challenge, because I did not set-up Paypal payments before leaving the states. I thought we could pay cash at check-in.
The front bedroom was noisy with people walking outside all night, plus construction contractors started working early in the morning.
A very nice place, located in a great district close to the Arno River, with lots of restaurants, store, a market, & bars. The place was clean & just enough space for the four of us. Easy to access & host was very responsive to questions & gave information when asked.
Apartment is nice. Location is close to the famous bridge, lots of shopping and restaurants. There is no way to make coffee or tea, except to boil water in a big pot. No cloths for washing or drying dishes/counters etc. The kettle was melted and not usable. The one shower did not drain, therefore all 3 of us had to share 1 shower. I did let the host know so hopefully they will get that fixed.
The owner was extremely responsive- even late at night in a different time zone. Bedrooms were big, each had a tv. I was worried about the distance from Uffizi Gallery but it was only 10 minutes on foot. Felt safe walking home at 11:30 pm. Close to a grocery store and all amenities. 2 bathrooms were new with big showers. Would like a shelf in the shower for shampoo etc. Crisp linens and air conditioners in each bedroom worked very well in the heat wave. I would stay here again!
Not in the ownerâs control, but getting a taxi in Florence is very difficult without cellular phone (canât call or book on WhatsApp no matter what they tell you).
