The host was very responsive to our needs. The place had plenty of room for our family of 5, was in a great location, and very clean. I would recommend!!
Wonderful stay in gorgeous, clean, perfectly appointed apartment in a perfect location steps away from the Ponte Vecchio. Every detail was top-notch and the property managers went above and beyond to meet every need we had and share great recommendations for local restaurants and truly local florentine experiences.
Incredible! Everything we had hoped, and more. Location is superb. Walked to everything we needed. Loved watching the passersby stopping to take pictures of the Tower. Might be a bit of a challenge for those compromised by stairs, but even at our age, it wasn't a problem. Never thought we'd travel all the way back to Florence from the west coast of the USA, but this location may have changed our minds! Thanks for a very memorable time.
Beautiful property. Literally people stop to take photos of it from the street. Well appointed. The hotel across the way has a lovely balcony overlooking the Arno for sunset cocktails and dinner. Management was very responsive to questions and requests. The street below is bustling but did not bother my family. Centrally located.
Thank you so much for allowing us to share your castle! The apartment was amazing and in a very nice part of Florence! The beds were comfortable and big! I would stay here again and again! Well worth the money!
We had a lovely stay! The property was beautiful and the location was close to many museums, restaurants, shops, and other areas of interest. The kitchen was fully equipped and the air conditioning came in handy. We absolutely loved staying in such an historic building and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Thank you!
Amazing historical apartment, easy walkable location to see the Florence sights
The apartment is incredibly spacious, beautifully decorated, and was very clean and well-appointed. Check in was explained very thoroughly and communication with the property host was easy and responsive. We loved the history of the location and learning about Florence. The location is a little noisy with vehicles and motorbike traffic passing nearby at all times, but we got used to it. It was worth it to be so close to all that there is to see and do in this city.
This place is really amazing. Sadly the basement smelled like Florence sewer. We were told thatâs normal but after pouring water down the drains and running clothes washer and dryer, it disappeared. The building is breathtaking. No instructions were left but we figured it all out. Really fun time!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about this location. First, it is central to everything in Florence. The area is nice and safe. The process of checking in was incredibly smooth and the venue itself is amazing. Multiple times during the day people were stopping to take pictures of themselves in front of this amazing Tower. There is a wine venue next-door, which sells breakfast in the morning and a great menu during the day with beverages. Fun to sit outside and people watch. Shopping is amazing in this area. It is less expensive and seems more authentic. There is an elevator. The kitchen was great and fully stocked. The Washing machine was great no issue. There is a grocery store just a block or so away and very convenient. The beds were comfortable. The windows had nice views. The bathrooms were clean overall it was a great experience and I would be happy to make a recommendation to anyone considering visiting Florence. This is truly a hidden gem.
WOW!...is all we said to one another when we first entered the apartment. It is HUGE - 3 floors. Secondly, it is furnished with taste & lives up to the hype! We felt kind of like royalty that we got to stay here. The location was also almost too good to be true. FYI - wifi only works in bottom bedroom & living area - thick walls prevent apartment-wide wifi. Not a major issue. The major issue was that my daughter (22yrs) shut the iron kitchen door so my wife and I could take a short siesta. When she went to open the door, the handle would not turn & there was NO WAY TO OPEN THE DOOR. We were locked in a part of the apartment, where there is no way to get out without jumping 3 stories out the window. We called Monica, our management contact, and she sent her son who could not get the door open no matter how hard he tried. Over twenty-five years of blacksmithing has taught me to look carefully at iron. I analyzed the door and noticed a slight warp in the iron. With all my weight & strength as leverage I was able to force the iron door to bend enough to release the lock. When I debriefed with Monica there was never an apology for the situation or even a thank you for saving the door from a grinder. It felt as if she was blaming us for getting stuck. That one incident tainted the way that I felt about the management. A simply sorry goes a long way. So take that as a caution that if you get stuck - do not count on the management to help! In fact, count on them to insult!
