Good location, but getting to the second floor apartment was a dangerous task due to uneven stairs. Temperature of the apartment was really cold even after trying to adjust. Not a very well lit entryway and it would have been nice to have someone there to greet us to show us some things we may have needed. Bedroom was not as shown as online.
Lovely apartment! Rooms were nice and big by European standards. Bathrooms were very clean; kitchen wardrobe was great!!Nothing negative to say about this place. Walkable to everything in FlorenceMaybe could use a few more hooks or something to hang wet towels. But thatâs nothing compared to how perfect it was
We had some difficulty with the door to the apartment but once in everything was fine. Personally I would have liked more light and maybe more of a sitting area. but the unit itself was well maintained and conveniently situated.
Great location but be warned: The entry is scary. Dark, peeling walls, broken steps and railing. Trick with the door to the apt is turn all the way to right, then pull on the door and push. Stove never worked. When I discovered no hot water and alerted the host, he accused us of turning off the hot water heater and doing laundry. We had just arrived. He was mean, condescending and horrible. The ad shows a beautiful white bed that wasn't there. Very deceiving. Other than that, it is cute, very clean and beds are comfortable. You can walk to all museums and shopping.
The property is a wonderful location with comfortable beds and we felt secure. Itâs close to all the attractions and great food. The stairs getting in are narrow, but doable. The living dining area was smaller than expected, but adequate. Our hosts were awesome and responded quickly to all my questions. We appreciated the quick responses. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay in a beautiful city!
Apartment was nice , bathrooms small, shower small. Apartment owner blamed you for anything you asked about it was always your fault regardless of the issue. I was called a liar ! If it were a different owner I would consider staying again. Owner needs customer service lessons he was very rude and never took accountability for anything ! Also we paid 60 euros for 5 nights in taxes!
Quaint apartment in a great location in Florence. Close to many restaurants and coffee shops. Easy to find upon arrival. Would stay here again and definately recommend.
Overall we loved the apartment and the location . The negatives would be the showers were small as well as the bathroom sink being small. Fortunately we arenât big people âŠI donât think a bigger person could shower there. But we were fine. Also the stairwell light shuts off rather quickly and my wife struggled a little getting up the stairs . But overall I would stay again
It was very nice but there was no comfortable place to sit to watch TV for more than a few people. We enjoyed the location with shops and food close by.
Place was cute and in a good spot but the door is a pain to get open. You have to wiggle the key just right and they were stingy on the toilet paper- left one roll per bathroom. When we arrived we also noticed a constant beeping like a smoke detector. It was coming from the stove top which was not responding and flashing a light. When we messaged the property manager they were just like âit wasnât doing that this morning, unplug itâ. You canât unplug it, itâs hardwired. Then they just said it wasnât possible to be beeping..so guess it was all in our heads :p We ended up just turning the breaker off and turned it back on after a bit and fixed it but the customer service seems like it would be a concern if you had any issues.
The apartment did not have a proper sitting area for 4 adults to relax together. The kitchen was very small and didn't have goid enough instructions on hand on how to start the stove plate. The bedrooms were a nice size but no where to put your luggage. The one bathroom was okay but no where to put your toiletries. The second bath was so tiny as was the sink, and not enough lighting. We needed to purchase our own toilet paper as we ran out the second day.We were told yhe apartment was on second floor and it ended being on third. The entrance and stairwell were very very dark and worse than some dungeons we visted on the tours. I would never wsnt yo be by myself going up these three flights of srairs. Also the pictures on the website did not match the apartment. Also we were asked to email our passports even after we had previously sent them, which no other VRBO had adked fir upfront. This made us very nervous. First impressions make a big difference and out of the 4 VRBO this definitely was worst one.
We just stayed at the apartment for 5 nights with another couple. The apartment is exactly as pictured. It is very clean and offers all the amenities you would need when traveling. We were able to have our coffee and tea each morning. There is a microwave, a cook top and cooking essentials but who would cook when your in walking distance to a lot of the best cafes !David and Brita were wonderful hosts and always responding promptly to my questions. We would definitely stay here again !!
This property is well located in Florence. Communications with owners was excellent. Two nice bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The description of the property is accurate. If you do not need a full kitchen this is a good place for four adults or a small family. There is not really a "living room" or place for you to have place for everyone to relax together but otherwise excellent.
So many great things about this property including a very energetic and helpful property manager. Bedrooms are very spacious, and although the living/kitchen area is very small (as others have mentioned), it has everything you would need. Two small suggestions - the chairs around the kitchen table are very uncomfortable, and shelves to hold toiletries would be very helpful in the bathrooms since although they are very nice and modern, they are very small.Highly recommend this property!!.
