"The living room and one of the two bedrooms overlook a magnificent large terrace with an incomparable view of the 12th century church of Piazza Santo Stefano. "
Not so. Actually look out on Via por Santa Maria, which is pretty noisy with partiers most of the night.
After you book, you will be given a list of requirements, including taking the trash with you. It took me five times to request where to dispose of it, before being directed to a website that lists a site in the Piazza Ufizzi, 1/2 km away. Only the bins are gone, because there is a construction site and crane currently in that area. (There is actually *daily* curbside trash pickup, be we were never notified of it)
Conflicting instructions on how to connect to wifi. Two different SSID's and passwords. The correct one only discovered after realizing this listed one on the table was wrong. Shower head broken. When notifying the owner, asked if I knew how to operate. It was finally fixed and I received shampoo on the third day in the apartment. Oh, and when I rent an apartment with two bathrooms, I actually expect to use both.
The owner is quite rude and dismissive, but his wife is reasonable when she intervenes.
The location is very convenient to the attractions and the apartment is recently renovated. A little odd that it sports Georgia O'Keefe prints, being in Florence.
