Great Location, but Major Issues with unit
I have a mixed review of this property. All of the negatives can be fixed. The best part of this unit is the location. You really can't beat it. It is half a block from the Uffizi Museum! Easily walk to everything.
Now for the Issues we had:
1. The beds are like a rock. We stayed for 5 days and it killed our backs. These need to be upgraded.
2. There is no AC in the second bedroom, so it was unbearably hot, even with the door open (in June).
3.The windows were left open when we checked in and the unit was infested with Mosquitos.
3. There are bedbugs or some kind of bug in the couch. My 11 yr old daughter slept there due to no AC in the bedroom. She woke up with bites all over her arms and her FACE! My 17 yr old laid on the couch for an hour and had huge bites on her arms. The bites lasted at least 10 days.) My girls wanted to review this place a 1 star because the were so miserable and itchy. I have pictures of this.
4. The blankets for the beds were tiny 5x7 throw blankets, not full blankets.
5. There were no pillow cases for the pillows in the closets. No duvet cover for the one duvet in the closet.
6. The gate at the front door is a major fire hazard. It is locked and you cannot get out of the building without 1 of the 2 keys provided. That is so dangerous! My advice is find another rental near this one until they fix these issues.
I really hate giving such a harsh review, but this place has potential to be great!
