The Continental breakfast was outstanding. The hotel was right in the heart of Florence, within easy walking distance to all the sites. The staff was very helpful. The room was spacious and clean. It included a safe for valuables.

The staff was absolutely wonderful and so knowledgeable!! Staff were so funny, and Monty and Andrea?were teaching us to speak Italian!! Very central we walked miles and miles every day, but everything was within walking distance. I would recommend this place to anybody!!

We were set to stay in Florence for three days before joining a tour group for the rest of our vacation. I chose Hotel Alessandra because it seemed to have the best combination of price, location, and overall charm/vibe. We were not disappointed at all. We were delayed a day when a connecting flight was canceled. When we arrived to check in we were told that they felt bad for us that that happened and that we'd get free breakfast for the days that we were there. They definitely did not have to do that, but every part of the staff was above and beyond with kindness and helpfulness throughout our stay. The location was superb with the entrance in a quiet alley (Florence is one of the safest cities I've been in, so don't worry about that), but you are truly right in the middle of things with great shops, restaurants, and landmarks all very, very close. I'm sure all of the rooms are different because of the age of the building, but ours was palatial, with parquet flooring, huge windows overlooking the river, and a full bathroom with tub. A couple of tips: 1. Stairs. The building was built in the 1500's so there are a lot of stairs. The lift doesn't start until the first landing, so there will be at least a few stairs every time you come or go. BUT… 2. While the lift looks strange (built into the middle of the stairwell, don't be afraid of it. It functions perfectly and is part of the experience.

Vintage but clean and spacious room. Had air conditioning but was not needed because temperature was nice. Great staff always committed with giving a great service. Very diligent and enthusiastic. 30 steps to get to an elevator which accommodates 1 person plus luggage, doable but has to be taken into consideration for elderly and people traveling with kids.

This was the most amazing find!! Such a beautiful hotel on an amazing street and so close to EVERYTHING!! Monte and Alex checked us in and just wonderful! Our room was so spacious I left a garment lol .. and they arranged mailing it for us! Definitely would stay here again!! And definitely need to get back to Florence .. so magical

The staff were great! Location..great! Breakfast…very good. However I can only give the hotel 4 stars because of the stairs. 100 stairs to get to our room. Only but still 50 if you take the elevator part of the way. I feel the hotel needs to make this clearer as this could greatly effect future guests choices.

Perfect central location to visit places like the Uffizi, the Galleria, Ponte Vecchio, and close to so many amazing food options and shopping areas. It’s an old building, but the facilities are wonderfully up to date and the front desk staff were absolutely excellent! Highly recommend to anyone visiting Florence!

Location, location, location! You walk out the door and you are less than 5-10 minutes walking to every major attraction in Florence! Don’t worry about the stairs, there is a landing every 10 or so steps to rest if you need it. Service was amazing and we really appreciated them holding onto our bags until our next stop was available much later in the day.

Not recommended for anyone with mobility issues. In order to reach the hotel office there were 30 stairs before reaching a rather small elevator. We also had to descend a dozen more stairs to get to our room. Room was great and the staff and breakfast were excellent.

Staff were very kind and helpful! They allowed us to store luggage prior to check-in so we could get an early start to exploring the city. The manager explained the history of the building and helped us with finding places around the hotel. The place was so clean and the rooftop terrace was beautiful. Great location and would highly recommend it!

This was a great stay, you could not ask for friendlier or more helpful staff. The location can’t be beat for visitors who want to walk everywhere. Located just minutes from the Duomo, the Uffizi gallery and across the Ponte Vecchio, the Pitti Palace and Boboli gardens, amazing. We had a larger sized room with tv, mini fridge and safe. Would definitely recommend.

The staff was very helpful. When I got mixed up on the breakfast time and missed it, the front desk insisted on bringing croissants and orange juice to my room. Very convenient to the Ponte Vecchio, but on a quiet side street.

The building is very (VERY) old which adds so much charm and immediately immerses you in the magic of Florence - it is 2 minutes away from the Ponte Vecchio and so many other attractions and great restaurants. We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Belvedere & Tre Re. The staff were incredible — friendly, helpful, and couldn’t do enough for us. The location is perfect, just steps from the marina and everything you need, but still peaceful. Our room was large, spotless, and had all the essentials, plus some thoughtful touches. The highlight was our balcony with stunning views over the water — absolutely breathtaking. For a 3-star hotel, this exceeded our expectations in every way. Excellent value, and we’d definitely stay again.
