Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room - nice bed linen and towels. The room has a mini refrigerator, a safe and Nespresso coffee machine which were quite useful. Most of all the staff were extremely friendly and helped with the smallest questions.

Property is very old, the elevator is extremely small and slow and takes forever to get to your floor. We ended up taking the 3 stories of stairs to get to our room. Very basic in the rooms, not luxury at all however they were clean and had all the basics you would need. Lobby is very basic as well. Staff is very nice and helpful, called for taxis for us and answered all our questions. Great location, super close to Duomo and 10 min walk to the Uffizi and Academia. Breakfast buffet was awful, did not eat anything from it. Overall, the hotel needs some updates including the elevator and breakfast options along with updating the bathrooms in the rooms and the lobby but it was clean and convenient. Would not stay again.

Mattress a bit too firm. Energy saving feature where lights seemed to switch themselves off unexpectedly. Toilet cistern didn't flush properly. A lot of discoloured limescale around shower head.
