La Limonaia di Villa Aurora is a stunning colonial-style residence that forms part of the historic Villa Aurora estate.
Lovingly restored to recapture the splendor of the 1400s, this extraordinary property once hosted none other than Galileo Galilei, who is believed to have stayed here during the final years of his life while pursuing his studies.
La Limonaia spans 245 square meters and offers an exceptional blend of history, elegance, and comfort. The outdoor area is centered around a serene swimming pool, complete with a built-in sunken lounge and a cozy fire feature that creates an inviting atmosphere. The garden is lush and vibrant, featuring lemon trees and exotic plants sourced from Brazil, evoking a timeless Mediterranean ambiance.
A convenient outdoor shower with both hot and cold water, as well as a changing room, allows guests to enjoy the pool without needing to enter the house.
Inside, the property has been meticulously redesigned by an architect to preserve and enhance its colonial character. Elegant marble and natural stone surfaces are featured throughout, including in the three luxurious bathrooms. The villa offers three beautifully appointed bedrooms and can accommodate up to six guests.
