An all-around winner

Gorgeous building and lovely rooms; excellent location just outside of, and a convenient walk to, the hectic noisy center of Valletta; exceptionally friendly and helpful management and staff.

The property was done beautifully and we enjoyed having a small balcony (room 11) alongside a huge bathroom with walk in shower and bath. Everything we hoped for was in the room. Beach towels free to borrow from an area downstairs, brollies and sun hats. So thoughtful. Lovely roof top terrace where drinks from reception can be drunk up till late. Convenience store round the corner, cafe , botanic gardens (full of cats) and a walk through a pretty park to central valletta (picking up breakfast pastizzi for 50 cents from bakery by Balzunetta restaurant ) (ate in the restaurant twice) We were pleased to be in a quiet suburb but near amenities. Thanks for a great welcome, helpful advice and stay.

Great and quiet hotel very close to city center

Great hotel in Valletta outside of the bustling city center. I visited in May and things were already getting pretty crowded. It is an easy 5 min walk to the city gates.

We had a lovely three nights at this beautiful hotel. The room was so quiet and the hotel is stunning. The roof terrace was great too. The area is walkable to all the main sights and I would have no hesitation in recommending staying here.

This boutique hotel was amazing! We checked in after hours and it was very easy, we were given instructions days before arriving. Ryan is super friendly and extremely accommodating with anything we needed. The rooms and the whole hotel are beautifully designed, and the rooftop has amazing views of Valletta. Would highly recommend staying here!

Really nice, quiet hotel about 10 mins from Valletta. Ryan was very welcoming and informative on arrival and staff were good throughout our stay. There was the Malta Fireworks festival happening during our visit, and was a great place to watch from the rooftop bar.

This is a recently opened hotel in an old building that's been newly and attractively modernised. Our room was large, stylish (walk-in shower etc), comfortable and had an imaginative covered "outdoor" balcony/annexe that was great to sit in. The street is quiet but 10 minutes walk from the main drag in Valletta. We didn't have their breakfast but theres a great cafe and a convenience store just round the corner. There's no restaurant or bar but they'll sell you a beer to drink on the rooftop terrace. Its a shame the roof terrace isn't open past 7pm but I guess that might come in future as it looks like they have bigger plans for it. Car parking is free on street with complicated restrictions but we always found a spot nearby when we needed it. The underground multistory is close but we didn't use it. This is one of the best hotels we can remember staying in, and was excellent value.

Amazing hotel!

What a hotel, the room was superb, the bed was very comfy! Ryan the host was brilliant, he gave us some recommendations of where to eat and what to see and do, we took him up on a visit to the Elephant Shoe and an evening meal at Balzunetta - both were excellent! The roof terrace we only got to use once due to it being very windy on our visit but what a great sun trap and lovely relaxing space. I would recommend this hotel 100% to anyone visiting Valletta, an absolute gem of a place

23 Boutique is in a great location, just a 10 minute walk to the center of everything but far enough removed so it is quiet and not in the midst of the busy centre. The hotel itself is lovely, the rooms are well appointed, spotless and very comfortable.

From the minute you walk through the door the staff make you feel welcome. A well needed glass of water in the inner courtyard before allowing an early check-in was possible . Lovely room , a wonderful roof terrace to have drink and relax , conference room facilities if you need to work!!!! Location only 10 minute walk to city centre/ airport bus stop. Amazing Sicilian coffee shop next door for breakfast . Late checkout was possible for me on this occasion and luggage storage. Will be back😊

Loved everything about this place-Ryan has created it with his whole heart, and it shows. It’s on the edge of Valletta, and so it avoids the crowded bits. The only place one should stay in Malta!

Fantastic property within 15 minutes walk of Valletta which has been renovated to a very impressive standard. Spacious, clean and modern room. All of the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The information guide that is emailed in advance of the stay is really useful with lots of helpful information. Ryan in particular was brilliant with offering advice on where to visit with a number of maps available to take away with us as well as restaurant recommendations. Would highly recommend and will definitely return.
