Mother/daughter trip

Great location! We loved being a little bit off the main downtown but it being a quick walk to the beach! The trees by the pool made it feel very secluded and peaceful. The house was a perfect set up with the bedrooms and large kitchen/living room area.

Great location!

Location was wonderful! House was perfect. there are beach towels, beach gear, and pool tools available to renters. There was plenty of extra coffee filters, laundry detergent, and dish soap but you need extra TP, seasonings if planning to cook, and your own blankets if you like to cuddle up on the couch.

Fun Time at Folly Beach

Great house in a great location

Very much enjoyed our stay in this property. The outdoor area was great and the house was clean and fit our group nicely. The proximity to Folly Beach and the main drag of Folly Island was also very nice, as was the house being far enough away from the hustle and bustle to be quiet and relaxing. The only challenge we had was with the grill, but the rental company responded quickly and appropriately.

expecting more for what we paid

We feel as though this house does not live up to the price we paid for it. It was quite a high price for the quality. The couches are old worn and one has a tear, the garbage cabinet is falling apart and has a duct tape patch instead of being fixed. Also, we feel the kitchen should be better stocked and better quality for what we paid. There was no containers for food and the glasses were cheap plastic instead of glass. We did still enjoy our stay and they helped us out when we needed the drains to be unclogged or hair in the bathrooms but just feel for what they charge it needs a few updates.

First time in Folly

We had a wonderful time during spring break at Folly! The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. The pool was great for the kids (it was cold at first but when we let management know the heat was not on, they quickly corrected it). We rented bikes and a golf cart and those were there when we arrived and ready for our use. They had a ton of beach chairs and toys (as well as pool floats) so we didn’t have to bring ours and that was nice! The house was open and clean; however there are a lot of stairs and the kitchen in on the top level, so if you struggle with stairs, this is not the place for you. We had no trouble and appreciated the exercise! The rooms and bathrooms were great in size, but the beds in the bunk room were a bit hard and uncomfortable, per the kids. The other beds were good! The porches were so nice and great places to hang out and read. There is a direct walking path the cuts right to the beach but having the golf cart was awesome for carrying fall of our stuff. We ended up going further down a few streets where it was less crowded after the first day. We would definitely rent this house again, as it was walking distance to the main drag and beach and it was super nice and clean!

Perfect Beach House

Location is great for walking to restaurants/ shops on Center St. and to the beach. House is equipped with everything could possibly need for a beach vacation. Plenty of room for a group of seven adults. Loved our stay.

My Bachelorette weekend getaway!

I loved my stay at Bottoms up. The area was in a great location just about a 10 minute walk from all the hot spots in Folley. All rooms were very clean and well maintained. The pool and all the beach chairs available was the perfect touch. In addition, the owners left us cute koozie's that say bottoms up!

Great House and Location!

Our family enjoyed our stay this past week. Plenty of room and great location to the beach, downtown Folly and Charleston. The pool was a great bonus and we rented the golf cart which was super convenient.

Great accommodations for family fun

This was a great place for family traveling from different states to meet up and enjoy each other’s company. We had ages 9-70 in our group. We enjoyed board games, family movies, reading and relaxing, cooking family meals together, walking to the town for shopping, seafood, frozen treats, and spending long days at the beach. We would come home from the beach and swim in the pool and relax on one of the hammocks on the screened porch. The beds were comfortable. The temperature in the house was easy to adjust. And everything was very clean. There was plenty of parking space in the garage and driveway for our three sometimes four vehicles. It is about 45 minutes to Goose Creek naval base, 20-30 minutes to Charleston, and walking distance to the beach.

Perfect Folly Rental

We stayed here with two families: four adults and 5 kids and it was perfect for us. The location was great, a short walk to the beach and local restaurants and shops. The walk was sometimes a bit too long for my 5 year old. Would recommend renting a golf cart for groups with small children. The house was clean, the kitchen was nice and had everything we needed. We would stay here again.

Plenty of space

We’ve stayed at Bottoms Up before and love all the space. Our group has three couples and five children. Each couple has a nice sized bedroom with bath and plenty of room for the kids. Everything one could need in the kitchen. The big plus is the pool, the kids love the pool.

Excellent get away

Nice quiet location but still quick golf cart access to anything and everything. The house was stocked with everything you need in the kitchen and even great chairs and umbrellas for the beach! Would absolutely recommend and stay at Bottoms Up again in the future.

Our Family Vacation

Bottoms Up was a beautiful home for our family. It had all the amenities you could hope for- we just wished it had been a little closer to the beach! We had a six-seater golf cart, but with an 8 month old infant, it was quite lumbersome hauling all of the beach chairs, tents, bags, towels, etc. every day! If we could move this property two blocks closer it would be perfect!!
