The house is clean, well maintained, and beautiful. The yard is unmatched! The pool is a wonderful addition and the heater worked amazing for the cooler days/nights. The beach is a quick walk, downtown Charleston is about 25 minutes away. The house is in a quiet, less busy area of Folly beach but everything is walkable. Our family agreed this is one of the best places we’ve stayed and we would love to come back again!

Great stay! Brought my in laws here when visiting America. House was just as described, plenty of space. The pool was so great!!! We were able to bring our pups which was ideal for our holiday!! Nice and quiet area for walking around.

Amazing Property!

This house is AMAZING! The pool in the back is a must have during summer months - changes it up from beaching it all day long. Porches on front and back are so good for gathering on game night or coffees in the morning. Quiet street but so close to beach access and Center Street. The under house gaming area kept us all entertained! The bedrooms stay a bit warm in the summer so bring fans. Familroom that is open to the kitchen is perfect for making dinner with chill time watching a movie. Will definitely be back!!!

Unfortunate neighbors

House was beautiful! Games under the house are a great feature, however- be aware that you wont be able to enjoy them after dusk. The concrete echoes and the neighbors will complain of the "noise ordinance". Otherwise, great house!

March 2024 Spring Getaway

Was very pleased with the property and ammenities. We statyed for 2 weeks and brought our dog and college daughter. It is a short walk to the beach and in to town for dining. If you have dogs, there is no full fence so just a watch out. Only opporutnity is that the beds are extremely soft. Was not abel to control the airconditioning and it was a bit cold at night. Overall we loved the location, the decor and the entire visit.

Great Location and House

Loved the house, especially the screened porches and ample places for family to hang out. The house is a couple of rows back but provides more privacy and is very quiet, while still easily accessible to the beach. The microwave was not working so we called the management company, and they replaced it within an hour.

Comfortable Home

First time in Folly for years. I really enjoyed the house. Lots of room, very clean and comfortable. It was located a few streets back from the beach but, we rented a golf cart to get ourselves and all of our beach stuff to and fro. Beaches were more crowded than I am used to but never had a huge wait at restaurants. All in all, we had a great time!

Beautiful Home in Safe Neighborhood

We really enjoyed our stay on Folly Beach. The home felt safe in a residential neighborhood. Very close to nearby restaurants and only a few blocks from the beach. It’s a quick 5 min drive to a local grocery store and about 20 minutes to nearby Charleston. The backyard and lower level is great for kids to play and explore. I really liked the feel of Folly Beach. It is not overly commercialized/touristy. It feels like a local surf town. The people are so nice and welcoming. The house really had everything we needed. We did have to buy our own laundry soap and dishwashing detergent. We also had to buy extra paper towels and toilet paper for our week-long stay. My husband and I do prefer firm mattresses and the mattress in the Primary bedroom was very soft. Just something to note if that is a concern for you. We had a couple of things that were damaged on accident during our stay (we have 4 kids). We wanted to be upfront about everything as we try our best to take care of our VRBOs. The property manager was communicative and friendly. She did not seem to think it would be a problem (a closet door that fell off the track, a torn screen, etc.) Animals are also allowed to stay at the property. We did find a could of stray pet hairs during our stay but the house did feel clean when we arrived and that is just the nature of hosting pets. It did not bother us. Overall, we were so happy with this vacation and thankful this home fit us so well.

Beautiful house and yard in good location

Very pleasant stay in this gorgeous very clean house on a quiet street with lots of shade, about four blocks to the beach. (There’s a lovely path short cut.) The porches are large and well furnished. 5the beds were comfortable. The only quibbles: the main Tv was difficult to use. The one in the master was fine. The master bath needs more towel racks or hooks. There was only one dishcloth provided in the kitchen. A big deal: this is a dog friendly house and from the photos, I thought the back yard was fenced. It is not fully fenced. We’d stay here again though!
