Pros: As far as beach access, location, and parking go, this property canât be beat. It took 30 seconds to get to the beach from the front door. We easily fit 3 cars and couldâve fit 3 more. Itâs a little bit of a hike to downtown but we still walked it every day, even with a 3 and a 5 year old. The dual house setup is perfect for two groups to share together.Cons: The house is quaint to a fault. The whole house is unevenâŠto the point where the interior looks like the inside of a funhouse. Everything is crooked. Upon initial glance, it feels âfunâ but after a day or two you realize itâs just old and structurally unsound. Ants also get in EVERYWHERE if you leave any food out. The windows and doors donât seem to seal entirely either. Overall: Fun time if you donât plan to spend much/any time indoors. Good news is, Folly is a blast so you donât âneedâ a luxurious house to have fun here. 3 stars.
the location is excellent...the house is old old and floors uneven...bathroom door needs a knob...porch furniture not comfortable...BUT you can't beat the location....just would put a good door on bathroom in main house.
The house has been loved for a long time. Itâs rustic, comfortable, clean and has all the amenities. It was great for our set up (multi families) with the two separate house layouts. It could use a little TLC, but we were very comfortable.
This location has a cozy relaxing beach feel. There were a few things that need to be upgraded (deck and shower in front house) but we found the property to have everything we needed.
