I liked the open part of the property we ate dinner with our friends that stayed in another cabin. Cabins were cute, I loved all the little details. Our tub was clogged that was a negative. Nice hike around the reservoir. Food options nearby were good but limited.
The cabin is cute and quaint with historical charm.
With that being said, I disliked that the bedding sheets had previous guestsâ hairs and bits of black and brown specks. I wasnât sure what those specks were, but thankfully I brought my own sheets just in case. Also the bed post had a missing knob and left a screw exposed which scraped me when I walked by.
The pull-out couch was also dirty once we pulled out the bed. It had many food crumbs and hairs on top of the mattress. I thought maybe it could have been fallen crumbs from snacks being eaten on the couch, but the way the bed folds in, the food would not have been able to get between the crevices. This showed that the pull-out couch had not been cleaned after the previous guests.
Overall I donât mind that the cabin is very old or had a missing knob that scraped me. We actually loved the cabin up until we had to go to bed and realized the sheets and pull-out bed were dirty. Cleanliness plays a huge role on my comfort and my comfort for my family. I paid a lot to stay here, it would have been nice to sleep comfortably in beds with clean sheets. The fact they charge a cleaning fee but donât even provide clean sheets is ridiculous.
Was a nice piece of repurposed property. The weather wasn't great so we didnt see the common area out back with all the amenities till we left the next day. Was clean and cozy.
An amazing stay. Cute little cabins with great updates while still being mindful of the small details that bring the history alive. Town is a good jumping off point to outdoor adventure.
Great little spot with clean accomodations. Perfect for families. Easy to find, easy to park, easy check in. Pillows/blankets/pull out couch could have been a little better but the beds themselves were pretty comfortable. Nicely renovated. Super cute. Will stay again and will recommend to others.
We loved the set up of all the individual cabins. They were very well decorated. The common area was awesome and had lawn games. There was a dog park and playground within walking distance. And little shops and restaurants within walking. Definitely coming back!
I had a wonderful time here! Although the theme is "rustic mining camp", the little cabins were very clean and the bathroom and kitchenette very modern and nicely finished. Loved the creative decorating with antique and old "repurposed" items! Looking forward to a future stay with the extended family and utilizing the central lawn/BBQ kitchen/corn hole and horseshoes....
Everything was great except the AC unit was a little too loud. Also the shower doesnât have a door. It made a bit of a mess. Other than that it was a wonderful stay. Really enjoyed the outdoor kitchen, and the outside area. Kids had allot of fun playing outside.
