I booked three rooms for the holidays for my family that was visiting from out of town. Between my father having his own room, my brother and his fiancé having theirs, along with my daughter and her new husband, having a room three generations are represented in this review. The youngest generation was the only one impressed as they have had terrible experiences in the past at other locations. My dad said it was just a room that allowed him to sleep comfortably and get away from the loud noise of the family festivities. Meanwhile, my brother and his fiancé stated it was nothing special. I I understand you get what you pay for; my husband and I paid for them to have a room to sleep in that was near our home. Mission accomplished.

The only “good” thing about this hotel was its willingness to refund most of my money (but not all!) when I cancelled the reservation after checking in. The hotel is filthy, including not only the interior, but also the grounds which had many mattresses piled up at the side of the building. (Bed bug infestation maybe?). The attempts to clean the hotel have resulted in ammonia and cleaning fumes that are so overwhelming, your eyes immediately burn upon entry. I would rather sleep in my car than this hotel and I regret booking it. I do not usually write reviews, but if this helps one person avoid the same situation I had — it would be worth it.

Room was reasonable. Front desk charged an additional $100 to my debit card calling it a hold and stating it would be removed at checkout but it remained in place for 4 more days. Continental breakfast consisted of luke warm tater tots and sliced hotdogs. The parking lot had 6” of snow when I arrived and was never cleared by the time I left. Any corner that could be cut was cut. Certainly worth the extra few dollars to stay across the road.
