The hotel was very nice. Due to arriving in Fort Lauderdale at 10 am they still picked us up and locked up our luggage so we could go get lunch. They texted us when are room was ready.

12 Hour Stay

I stayed at the hotel with my toddlers overnight. The hotel was 5 minutes from port Everglades which was great. We were also 10 minutes from a Wal-Mart, Fivebelow and a Publix which was great for picking up last minute items needed for our cruise. Hotel was clean. Front desk staff was friendly and assisted me with printing out my luggage tags and cruise documents. The elevators close quickly. While pulling my stroller and luggage out of the elevator the elevator doors closed before my 4 year old stepped out which was terrifying. Thankfully another guest stayed on the elevator with her and the doors opened just as I was about to call the front desk for assistance.

Great night sleep

The room was comfortable, one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in at a hotel. Staff was friendly. Location was ok, not much around but it fulfilled what we needed it for before our cruise.

Only negative is the location to anything besides the port. We had extra time before and after our cruise but there was nothing nearby we could walk to for sightseeing.

This hotel did not have very friendly service. Employees did not seem happy to be there. One of the elevators wasn’t working and asked when it’d be fixed they didn’t know and said it’s been broken for a couple of months. It was very inconvenient especially in the morning as we were on an upper level floor so having to wait 10-15 minutes to get on the elevator or walk the stairs was not great. They have all the spots on the first level marked for valet but no actual valet service couldn’t park because have to have room key to park past the gate and no where to park to check in. Just terrible place to stay.

I liked being placed in a handicapped room so that I could have a visual of how you accommodate with a chair in the shower and a lower bed height. I don’t need those amenities yet, but may in the next 10 years. Alley was rough road. Areas to wait for a ride share were not clearly marked. Not really adequate room for parking for drop off & pick up. I did not like the room charge policy. My husband booked a room for one night. Then we realized we needed another night. The room price increased from 200 per night to 400.00. On Our return trip, we had also reserved a room for one night. We were charged $400.00 per night. All through Expedia. We were told this was due to spring break.
