We had high hopes, but upon entering the development we quickly realized this was not a quaint, vacation community. It was largely run didn’t area, a mix of homes and shabby apartments. The drive to the beach was more like 20-30 min due to lights. The house had potential and you could tell was recently updated, but sadly very beaten up already. For starters the pool was filthy, green, and completely unusable. In fairness, as soon as this was brought to the owners attention she contacted the pool cleaner and they came out. Unfortunately their version of clean did not match ours as they didn’t actually turn on the filtration system, and just pumped it with chemicals leaving it full of floating filth. This feedback was again well received by the owner but not the pool person who ended up insulating and disrespecting me for sharing my concerns. After spending our first night grossed out and upset over the treatment we received the pool person came back out and claimed to have turned on the filter to remove the filth. He did turn it on, but it didn’t stay on and after two days the pool was gross and barely swimmable. No way o was calling him back after his horrible and rude treatment to me and my family. Beyond the pool and the depressed area, the house had many issues. The screen doors literally fell off, untouched on my daughter, the toilet seat was not attached making it a challenge to even use it, and the pool lights and other main lights were never working.
