When we booked this hotel it was strictly for the amenities and convenience for cruisers. However, we were never contacted and advised of the MAJOR renovations taking place. We could not even get a bottle of water.

Expedia needs to issue me a refund a.s.a.p. The hotel is an active, LOUD, and very dangers construction site. Hyatt should not allow employees or guests on site. I took pictures and video and will be submitting this information to OSHA. I will be accusing Hyatt and Expedia of violating safety regulations enforced by OSHA. Hyatt employees are made to work in deplorable conditions and their extreme negativity, hostility, and stress is apparent. Who do I contact at Expedia for a full refund. This was the WORST hotel experience EVER!!!!!

Room was good until we had no hot water for shower. Room used for breakfast was very crowded and seemed dusty due to construction. We should have been alerted about construction. Due to construction dust, we started our 12 day cruise with a construction alergy type nasel problem.

Had no idea this hotel was under construction as I booked this months ago. I can understand a few renovations but this is a full on construction zone. It was loud, chaotic, and very messy. Exposed ceiling wires, debris covering the floors, and the breakfast was in a tiny conference room with no where to sit and subpar food. Also was woken up very early in the morning by loud hammering from construction. I wish there would have been a little courtesy to send a message to upcoming guests about the extent of this construction. I would have cancelled and booked somewhere that was actually worth the price.

To be fair, they’re under renovations, but to be honest it was a little much. The construction work and traffic in main lobby was insane! The staff was super friendly, my room was perfect and clean . I loved how they provide body wash, shampoo and conditioner. They had a nice safe fo me to keep my things in, small fridge to keep a few things in, a desk and cozy couch. I slept like a rock, except being woke up by construction drilling and knocking at 8am. That was a little annoying, but I get it. They’re making the hotel better.

We booked this for the night before our cruise. I was traveling alone with two kids. When we walked in to check in, they were under construction and the desk was a table set up with laptops and two rude employees. Who dismissed my questions The elevator, marked for construction crew only was the only one that would open. I went back and asked the front “desk” and they said it was safe to use. The kids were scared and kept asking if the hotel was safe. The construction was loud
