We were told when we checked in that the room wasn't ready, and they'd call us when it was. We were understanding that we'd have to wait a long time because we got there in the morning from the cruise port, and hotel check-ins are normally in the afternoon. After waiting several hours, they still didn't call us. I went to check that they had our correct phone numbers. We waited a very long time after that, and still no call. My mom asked if there was an update on our room, and it has been ready but they never called. That first day, and throughout our stay, the women at the front desk were dismissive, and even rude when approached with a question. I always approached them with a smile, and they didn't smile even once.
