I will start with the good. The location was great. Easy walk to the beach and restaurants on the board walk. The resort amenities were also wonderful and very family friendly. We had an issue at check in because the resortâs key system was offline. Wouldnât have been worth mentioning honestly if we didnât encounter other issues. It was inconvenient to say the least and as a visitor itâs frustrating because both parties are saying they canât help you. The condo itself left something to be desired. First, we almost immediately found bugs. Then, we couldnât lower the privacy shade in one of the rooms. I contacted the property manager, and they sent someone over the next day. We continued to see bugs, and although the shade was lowered, we then couldnât raise it. They also moved the furniture and just left it as it was when they moved it. We only had one washcloth for five people. It was a weird experience to be staying at a resort hotel but not be able to get immediate support from that hotel because youâre staying at a private location. If we had just booked directly through the hotel, and we had these issues, we could have called the front desk and they would have helped us. I did not realize when booking that this was a third-party location in a hotel so while we paid to use resort amenities, we did not get the rest of the support model when there were issues. This could have all just been bad luck over short trip but it really hindered our trip.
