The Mango Cottage was such a cute place! It was very well appointed, super clean, and everything was in perfect “new” condition. Our labradoodle enjoyed the yard with the amazing mango trees, plenty of room to run. Great location, and Michelle and John were wonderful hosts, would definitely recommend!

The hosts, Michele & John were excellent -organized, prepared and very responsive. They also provided some nice, customized amenities.The Mango Cottage was fantastic -very clean, adorably designed and quite comfortable.The neighborhood was superb. Pickleball, a dog park & a community center all within walking distance. The community center includes an excellent aquatic facility that offers lap swimming and exercise programs.

Michelle and John are exceptional hosts- they truly go over and above to provide an excellent guest experience. One example- mango puree is placed in the freezer for guest use- we put it to good use making cocktails. We enjoyed several excellent meals in the area based on recommendations from the restaurant guide they provided. We enjoyed privacy in the fenced in yard with plenty of shade provided by the huge mango trees. Public tennis and pickleball courts, a dog park and bike path are very close by. The unit was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. The mango cottage is a gem!

We were in Florida for a week to visit relatives and Mango Cottage was perfect for our stay! It is a very comfortable, private cottage with many thoughtful 'extras'. It is clear that the hosts, John and Michelle, take pride in their cottage. It is nicely decorated with lovely artwork, is very clean and comfy. They were very kind and attentive to our needs and offereded suggestions on restaurants and coffee shops in the area. We would definitely stay here again, next time we're in Florida. Thank you for the yummy Mango that you left in the freezer... our smoothie was delicious!!

Best VRBO experience to date

Simply the best VRBO experience I have had to date. John and Michelle were extremely welcoming and were ready to answer any questions I had. The apartment exceeded my expectations by a long shot. Most VRBO's I have rented look like someone grabbed the furniture that someone else was throwing away and used it in the rental. This place feels like you are staying at a friends house. Everything is just really nice. I was in town for a scuba class and the location was perfect for that. Also I had access to a hose so I could rinse my gear. Top that off with free mangos and dehydrated mangos, and it was an outstanding experience. This will be my first choice for lodging next time I am in the area.

Location is great

This home is close to everything. We stayed 5 days and we had a really great time. The home is clean. The bed is comfortable. Everything is there for you. Checking in was a breeze and the host made us feel very welcome. The park across the street is very nice and we felt very comfortable walking. Our dogs loved it. It’s only a few minutes drive to the beach.

The cottage was just perfect. It was extremely clean and very spacious. It was accessible to everything we were interested in visiting. John and Michelle were accessible if needed and graciously prepared mangos for us to make delicious slushies. We look forward to visiting the Mango Cottage again

I arranged an extended stay for my parents at the Mango Cottage. They loved it. My dad is definitely set in his ways, so that’s saying something. John and Michelle thoughtfully anticipated the needs of senior guests, giving me peace of mind. Their cottage is clean, comfy, and suited for multiple days. Highly, highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at the Mango Cottage! John and Michelle are wonderful hosts that make sure you have everything you need. The cottage is in a quiet residential area, close by to amenities. Beds and linens are comfy and the kitchen has everything you need. We would definitely stay again!

Lovely space and outstanding hospitality

My friend and I stayed for 5 nights for some medical meetings and a little r and r. The space is super clean and has amazing sweet energy. Space is better and a little bigger than pictures suggest. The details of decor and items available to use were clearly selected for the comfort and enjoyment of their guests. The hosts are the tops of our list for best hosts ever. Thank you!! Loved Mango Cottage!

My husband and I recently stayed at Mango Cottage for 10 days to escape the cold and gray of New England. It was perfect! The immaculate cottage easily became our home away from home as we explored Pompano Beach and the surrouding area. Michelle and John were wonderful hosts!

The Mango Cottage is Lovely!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Mango Cottage. The hosts couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. They have everything you need there for the beach, so don’t worry about packing beach towels, beach bag, chairs, umbrella, etc. And the kitchen is so well stocked with everything, including “glass” wine glasses, as well as plastic for outdoors. So much attention to detail in decor and comfort! The outdoor area is so quiet and peaceful
 We certainly enjoyedbreakfast/coffee out there every day.

Relaxation & Hospitality for a Walkable Pompano Beach Experience

Michelle & John are gracious & accommodating hosts. They perfectly balanced 1) communicating approachability & accessibility with 2) showing respect for guests' private enjoyment of the cottage, patio & yard. The listing refers to the availability of mango puree & a hammock upon request. I requested both before arriving, & both were available to us. With the availability of an ice maker & blender, I enjoyed mango smoothies for breakfast. One of my favorite memories of enjoying the cottage was finishing a good book in the hammock. Its location in a grand mango tree allowed me the comfort of shade while immersed in warm greenness. The hosts thoughtfully placed a mat on the ground beside the hammock for removing sandals before reclining. Nighttime stargazing from the patio was nice too.The location was good for taking in the community on foot. My friend & I walked just under a mile to visit a monthly block party called "Old Town Untapped" hosted outside the Bailey Contemporary Arts Center. We enjoyed seeing art available for purchase from local vendors as well as a broad array of food trucks, including vegetarian & vegan options. As two woman walking back to our cottage after sundown, we walked with customary vigilance but no fear.The location was 1.4 miles from two grocery stores and closer to Walgreens & CVS locations. Our walk to the public beach was 2.1 miles. The cottages' TV are smart TVs allowing access to streaming apps. The cottage was very clean & as pictured.

Mango Cottage is Great!!

We stayed at the Mango Cottage for two (2) weeks in January 2025. We stay at a lot of VRBO rentals and this is one of our best finds - highly recommended! Definitely stay there again. Very current décor with nice art and well stocked. Clean, spacious and as advertised for the two of us and our dog. The hosts are great. Loved the property, trees and fenced in yard. Close to the beach and lots of great restaurants in the area. Highly recommend Houston's restaurant about 2 miles away - best in area in our opinion. Nice area to go for walks and a park right across the street. We played pickleball everyday at the Pompano Community Park which was less than 2 miles away - great place for pickleball players of all levels. Even had some fun at the nearby Casino!

Outstanding

Michelle and John not only take pride in the Mango Cottage (appropriately named) they genuinely cared about my comfort while I was their guest. They’ve thought of every detail. I stayed at the Mango Cottage for 11 nights and will happily return on my next visit to the area. It’s a perfect set up for 1-2 people and a dog or two. It’s small but not too small. I’m 6’4” and the king size bed is comfy. Huge closet and nice washer/dryer in a separate area. Hot water and great water pressure. VERY clean throughout. Decent size yard that is fenced in. There’s a beautiful park directly across the street for playing ball with your dog or walks. Quiet neighborhood in a great, central location. 1/2 mile to the pickle ball & tennis courts and aquatic park for swimming laps. LA Fitness is also about 1/2mile. The Mango Cottage, Michelle and John are 10/10.

The cottage is close to everywhere we wanted/needed to go while still being a peaceful, quiet refuge.
