The bed was very comfortable, quiet neighborhood and nice location although not convenient if dependant on public transport. A few other things.might have been useful, glasses, an ice tray and directions on operating the TV. Finally found a solution that worked most of the time but could be frustrating .

Unexpected

Run down, in need of update. Closet door handles are at top of door frame?..tripped on extra long shower curtain on shore floor. Bathroom sink caulking deteriorated. Outside the flys were all over the trash cans area. Haven’t been picked up in awhile??

Good & Bad

There were no chairs. Old people need comfortable chairs to sit and read in. The kitchen had no cooking dishes and no sink. The outside light shone directly on the large window so the room was more twilight than dark for sleeping. The remote to operate the heating unit was not in the room; host had to bring it over later in the evening. It was a great location for us. The host was friendly and responsive.

Waste of money

Upon arriving to the property I received a message that the hosts were moving me to a different unit until the next morning due to a maintenance issue in the unit I rented, I understand things happen so I had no issue with that until Garrett races up in the driveway asking am I the person who was staying there and that I would have to move over to the original unit that same night once he was finished - which screwed up the birthday dinner plans I had with my daughter, AFTER I had already started unpacking 
upon making him aware of my plans he blurts out “ well then I’m going to have to cancel your reservation “ are you serious I said , I’m already here
 ( first they email me saying until the next morning ) then he insists I move when he’s finished that evening as if I’m going to sit around and wait ! Insane! Upon finishing moving my things over the initial unit I rented as they told me to, I took my shoes off when I finished , within the first couple minutes my socks turned completely black 
 the floor was nasty and pillows smelled like men’s hair & cheap cologne . I couldn’t even sleep comfortably. No burner , no dishes or silverware , nothing fit in the mini fridge or the mini dorm room, the ac unit in the wall was the loudest thing I’d ever heard so kept it unplugged my entire stay . The vent in the bathroom never turned off and would blink a bright green light . I can go on and on but you get the point. Don’t waste your time or money!

Beautiful Birthday Getaway

This property is worth every cent! I stayed with my boyfriend during the birthday and we had the best time. I would 100% come back to stay again. The location of this rental is perfect as the beach is only 10 minutes away, and The Warf isn’t far either if you’re looking for drinks in the area! We got a rental car for our stay and the parking at the property was very simple and easy. I felt secure and safe as our neighbors were very quiet and the locks on the doors worked very well. I also loved the sitting areas outside all of the entrances, it gave a nice homey feel. Staying at this property made my boyfriend and fall in love with Fort Lauderdale and we are already planning our next visit! I only have 2 small complaints: one being that when we arrived the floors weren’t as clean as I’d liked and I had to sweep the floors myself, and two is that I wish that the TV in the unit was a little bit bigger or was able to adjust to you could pull it out of the wall. Other than that this property is beautiful, quiet, and a prime location if you’re thinking about staying in Fort Lauderdale!

perfect room for maritime schooling

needed to come back to states and take several classes that are required for Capt Licenses. The school only about 15 mnutes away and since all i needed was a place to sleep it was fine. About half the price i paid for a hotel the month prior...

Needs updates.

Place is cute just needs few details to enhance experience . Towels were stained and smelled really bad. No trash bags in trash bin. Shower curtain has mold in the bottom. The trash outside was over flowing and smelled terrible. Over all place is cozy but does need a attention to details !

My Stay Experience

Property owners were very responsive and accommodating which I appreciated. Overall, room was generally good. Things I did not like about the room was pillows were not comfortable and wifi was very weak. TV (because of how old it was) could not handle steaming apps like DirectTV, so had to watch my cable programming on my iPad. Towels also smelled very stale.
