The 2 home plan worked well for us considering we had a young 3 year old. The bayviews were nice, saw a couple of dolphins come and go almost everday. Beach was a pretty good walk and nice beach although a lot of seaweed. I brought my 21 foot boat but could not get water to the dock so decided not to use the lift,as I like to wash down the boat and flush engine. No help from host on this one. We had a few hiccups,a/c went out on day 2 but the host was able to get someone out in about an hour and was remedied, had a running toilet when we arrived but I fixed that, and small ghost ants were in both places,as the rains caused this. We would probably stay here again but really need to get the garages addressed, and Construction next door done. Both places were well equipped with amenities and the furnishings were nice!
Communication was excellent through the app, all questions answered with solid and easy contact. The peaceful views of nature at the bay didnt disappoint any of my family. Having the entire house, both units for our wedding weekend delivered on so many levels especially as this was a last minute change and this property were very accomodating. What we didnt know was the disrepair state of the garages fully exposed and open to the bay side with construction. Various other things such as loose tile inside the house, the fair state of some keather chairs and sides of leather couches (I have pics of it all when we arrived) to which they make a point of telling you the cost of repair to leather couches sat on in wet suits. We are local and lived through hurricane Ian 20 months ago so having understanding of the recovery process isnt anything we dont know, just wish they were upfront of these details, as the price we paid doesnt reflect a less than perfect rental. Would we do it again? Yes because it was about family time together and that is priceless. Would i ask more questions about condition of rental moving forward, 100% i would.
