My 12-yr old daughter and I came to Ft Myers Beach for Spring Break (March 2025). The house was super clean upon arrival and the pool was nice and warm. The beach is a short (5-7 min) walk but not crowded. The house is not close to the âhoppingâ part of Ft Myers Beach but that was ok with us. There is a Publix about a mile away and another shopping center a mile the other way (7-11, CVS, beach shop, ice cream shop, etc - places are still opening up after the hurricanes recovery so Iâm sure more will pop up). Make sure to read the house description about what is and is not included. Itâs 100% accurate. There are no beach towels. You get one trash bag, one thing of detergent to run the dishwasher, one thing of detergent for the washing machine. There absolutely no spices, salt, pepper, etc. You have to bring all of that for yourself. Not a huge deal other than the beach towels - I donât know why a beach house wouldnât have beach towels. The Publix nearby closes at 7pm and is expensive. So Iâd shop before entering the island if I were to do it again. The house has all the kitchen tools you need. Both bathrooms have a hairdryer and lots of bath towels. Itâs on a busy road so there was street noise in the morning for the front rooms. But I was able to drown that out with a sound machine. Oh and I have never been to Ft Myers Beach before so am not sure what it looked like pre hurricane. There is construction happening but it feels ready for visitors! Thanks for a great visit!
