Escape to peaceful country living in our cozy single-wide home, perfectly set among quiet cornfields and a scenic creek bed. Just 4–5 miles from town, this comfortable retreat is ideal for tweens, teens, and adults, offering space for up to four guests with one Queen bed and one Full bed.

Inside, you’ll enjoy all the comforts of home, including Wi-Fi, TV, heat, a full kitchen stocked with snacks, and a washer and dryer for convenience. We also provide coffee, toiletries, and other thoughtful essentials to make your stay easy and enjoyable. Pets are welcome, too!

Take in the calming rural atmosphere and experience the unique charm of the surrounding Amish community. From time to time, you may hear the distinctive hoofbeats of a passing horse-and-buggy—a charming reminder of the area’s traditional lifestyle. And depending on the season, you might even wake up to snow-covered trees decorating the landscape, showing off the wonder of the season to come.

The home is located within view of neighboring residences, yet still offers a peaceful and relaxing setting. You’ll have parking for two vehicles and easy year-round access via a well-maintained paved road.

We had a great experience with this property. Chad and Kate were fantastic, they made sure that we were comfortable and also made sure we had everything we needed. It was a very clean home and very inviting. Definitely great hosts and wonderful vacation.

Very cute place, nice and simple. Our hosts were very responsive and made our stay easy. They left out some snacks, and had a whole coffee bar! Which we were so thankful for since we forgot our own coffee. Overall 10/10 would recommend!

Cons:When we first walked in to the rental the first thing we smelled was the stench of cigarette smoke!!! We bought fragrance spray but didn't work. There were two in window air conditioners that were not sealed. Because of that the rental was infested with mosquitos and other little flying bugs that were attracted to the inside lights and us! We were consistently killing them. Also the ones we we weren't able to kill just died and were laying on the counters, floor and counter tops (bathroom and kitchen). Some foam weatherstrip would have reduced that problem. The tap water had a horrible smell and taste. The kitchen water always looked cloudy. We bought bottled water to drink and brush our teeth but still had to shower in the tap water. Not pleasant.The pictures of the trental showed two TVs. One in the living room and the other in one of the two bedrooms. There was only one TV and that was in the living room.There was discarded cardboard boxes under the entry stairs. Looked trashy. There was used food items (corn, mustard, mayo, salad dressing etc.) in the refrigerator and cupboards. Items should not be left as who knows what could be in them or how old. The bathroom needs an additional towel bar or a bigger one. The tub needs an new drain plug. Pros:The rental was in a beautiful and very quiet location as to why I picked it as I'm very familiar with the area as I'm originally from Fort Plain. Quiet neighbors. We wouldn't recommend this rental.
