Old Fort Loft is a contemporary three story apartment in the heart of downtown Fort Smith. Just blocks away from the U.S. Marshals Museum, Arkansas River, Fort Smith museum, National Cemetery, Convention Center, and the Amphitheater. Numerous restaurants and city nightlife are all within walking distance. There are lots of activities going on in Fort Smith and our apartment is at the hub. Our space is three stories. On the first floor you will find a long garage big enough for two cars or 20 motorcycles. You will have full use of the garage during your stay. We have a Nema14-50 outlet, just right to charge your electric vehicle. The second floor has our living room with pull-out sofa, dining area, half bath, and full kitchen with island counter. Outside of the living area is a spacious porch with patio furniture. The third floor is where we keep the two bedrooms, each with their own full bathrooms. Each bedroom has a spacious closet. The laundry room is also located on the 3rd floor. You will have access to the full sized washer/dryer.

Good value. Reviews are difficult. Anyone who uses VRBO consistently has most likely had times when they felt the property was over hyped. That was not the case with this property.The property is appropriately priced. Not fancy and yet not pedestrian either.

Old Fort Loft - A Great Stay

The Old Fort Loft was perfect for our Camaro weekend. It was very clean and wonderfully decorated. The proximity to the nearby historical sites and museums was certainly a plus.

Perfect for our travel

My friend and our two daughters stayed at Jim's property this past weekend while we attended a dance competition in town. The property was very clean and had all the amenities we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The space allowed both families to spread out and our girls had plenty of space to get ready for dance! We also enjoyed having the garage. We were able to pull both of our vehicles in and felt extremely safe at night. Jim was very responsive when we had questions; I would highly recommend this property to anyone coming into town.

Plenty of space to relax for the weekend

Easy to find and access the location, just over the bridge from OK into Ft Smith. We really enjoyed the stay, from the LP collection to the quiet deck and courtyard, the property was great. We only wished we could stay longer.

My family and I rented this unit to attend a graduation. The unit was just as described, very clean and equipped with everything. We especially like being able to park inside a garage and my husband loved the record collection. Thank you for sharing your home with us! Feels welcoming the moment you walk in. There are bath and body works soaps and lotions at all sinks, plenty of towels, kpods, etc. There is an iron and ironing board, hair dryers, first aid kit. They really thought of everything. Communication was easy and Jim and Karen were great hosts. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice Home but Questionable Area

The property is very nice and you can tell that the owners take care of it. There are a few complaints that I would list out: 1. You can hear everything. Trains, cars, and 18-wheelers. In fact, when an 18-wheeler drives by, the whole home shakes. 2. There are a lot of homeless people that reside in the area. We were visited by a prostitute at the door at one point. 3. The owners have a whole section in their welcome book that is just about fire and brimstone. My sister is a devout Christian and even she found it to be in poor taste. 4. Although none of us were expecting to drink, it should be noted that the owners do not allow alcohol on the premises and you only discover this after you arrive.

In the heart of Old Fort Smith

This is our 2nd time staying at the Old Fort Condo. Conveniently located near everything downtown Fort Smith. We were in town for a rally and it was perfect. Close enough to walk to everything but far enough away from crowds. Perfect! The bikes are a great bonus to ride on the riverfront path or around downtown. There are so many great restaurants and entertainment close by. Be sure to check out Bricktown Brewery, La Huerta’s Mexican Food, Papas Pizza, Landry’s, Rolando’s Nuevo Restaurant, and AJs Oyster House. The Artistic Bean is a great coffee house on Garrison and the Bakery District always has something going on and also has Fort Smith Coffee Co. The garage in the condo is huge. We were able to fit my Ram 1500, our Road Glide, and my daughter’s Equinox in the garage with 4 bicycles and still had plenty of room. The condo is 3 stories, all stairs (just FYI). Not an issue for us but could be for some. We will be back again!!

Fantastic Stay

This property is amazing. The apartment is beautiful, well maintained, and within walking distance to entertainment and restaurants. The hosts are wonderful communicators. I strongly recommend staying at this wonderful apartment when you are in Fort Smith. I will stay at this property again in the future.
