Kilmalieu is ideally situated for a variety of activities. Explore the nearby stunning landscapes, from the rugged mountains of Ben Nevis to the tranquil shores of Loch Linnhe. Hiking and cycling enthusiasts will find numerous trails suitable for all skill levels, offering breathtaking views at every turn. Travelling further west you will come across Strontian and then Ardnamurchan with beautiful beaches and castles. If you don’t want to go too far, take a stroll or enjoy a picnic by loch Linnhe.

In Fort William, just a short drive away, you’ll find shops, cafes, and the West Highland Museum, where you can learn about the area’s rich history. For thrill-seekers, consider tackling the famous Nevis Range or trying out water sports on the loch. Go on the steam train over Glenfinnan Viaduct (Harry Potter) but please book in advance, a day trip to the Isle of Skye, Glencoe, the Isle of Mull and stop off in Oban on your way home. Bookings are necessary for ferries too.
