Lovely hotel in a good location. Staff very friendly and helpful, rooms were comfortable with great views of the loch. Food in the restaurant was excellent, would recommend!
The hotel is okay but clearly too expensive for the standard offered. Sadly not even breakfast included in the high rate, although hotels in the area tend to be expensive.

We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that.
We had evening dinner which was very nice.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
It was clean but just needs a good update, which is a shame as the hotel was a great stop off for us.
The bathroom door was very small to get through and the bed was a small double.
All in all a good stay.
We had a great stay here. Everything was wonderful. The view was absolutely exquisite. The staff were totally helpful, accommodating, and very polite. The place was clean and lovely. The bed were reasonably comfortable. The only thing that was a little off, was that the blind in the bathroom was broken, so we had to manually roll it up if we wanted it open. It was no big deal since everything else was so lovely.
Good points
Room and staff were great

Bad points
Lock for the room was stiff (room 14)
Breakfast was awful definitely go else where

We had a lovely stay at this hotel - the staff were all incredibly friendly and very welcoming to us and our dog. We ate once in the hotel for dinner and the curry was delicious, we also ate from the food van outside on our arrival day and the burgers hit the spot. We had an absolutely spectacular view from our room of the loch and surrounding mountains, the seating area in front of the windows was a nice touch as we enjoyed having our coffee here each morning. The hotel is a great base for exploring the surrounding areas of Glencoe and Fort William, however I would only recommend if you have a car (free parking is also a nice touch). I will say the only downside was while the rooms appeared clean, we found rubbish in the drawers and previous guests dirty socks.. this being said, I can appreciate this was a minor oversight, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
The room was dirty, dusty, the menu in the draw had tea/coffee stains on it - although it was laminated- and the drawers were full of crumbs/ bits, the toilet was tiny and the whole room was untidy/shabby looking. The breakfast which we paid £13.50 each for was not great, there was a good choice but the bacon was very lightly cooked the beans were cold and the eggs were either done too much hard or not enough & snotty. I only saw one member of staff the whole time he seemed to do everything reminded me of the tv show fawlty towers but they had more staff.
Do not dine in the hotel restaurant. I had a veggie burger and chips and was violently ill with food poisoning. My husband asked the staff for an extra blanket because I was sleeping on the bathroom floor to be nearer to the toilet. They came back with this blue felt stained blanket. We didn’t feel comfortable staying an additional night after our experience the first evening and talked to the man about getting a refund. He said he would speak to the owner and email me but never did. Stay at your own risk.
Room was disgustingly dirty.Tv did not work
No information regarding breakfast in the room or given on checking in.went down 9.00am
and it had already finshed. When showed the manager the photos of the state of the room Was told the compact rooms are small that was not the issue it was the filth. I knew the room was going to be small. But expe ted it to be clean
The room was very clean and comfortable. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Beautiful views in the restaurant of the Loch. All the employees are very kind, warm and welcoming. We stayed an extra day because we enjoyed our stay so much. If we ever come back to Scotland, we will stay at the Lodge on the Loch. Cheers.
