the parking leaves a lot to be desired very little parking at the hotel, and they charged us for 15.00 bucks a day for parking in a parking garage across from the hotel that we only used 1 time on the last night because of so limited parking. So $75.00 for parking 1 time, not happy about that at all. The total that trivago quoted us was over $200.00 less then what they charge us in the end. staff was very nice the pool was very kid friendly, and the fireplaces were very nice. overall happy but charges were not that was quoted to us.

The room, location, and the pool are the reasons we book this hotel. I was a little disappointed that fun stuff in the pool wasn't working for the kids, butnthere was a busted pipe. My reason for not giving a shining 5-star review is the check-in clerk that evening was rude! Not only to my husband when he tried to check in but to me as well. She talked over me and would not let me speak. Her name tag was mostly covered by her hair but I believe her name was Xena...most appropriately named as she was feisty! Everyone else was nice and pleasant all the way from morning staff to housekeeping and maintenance! We will stay again as the location is very close to Cooks Children's Hospital and having a special needs child we travel to Fort Worth often.

The hotel had a very nice pool and with sprinklers and nice play area for kids. The hotel was in a very safe part of town. There were very close dining options, like Torchy's Taco and Jason's Deli. They gave us good chocolate cookies when we got there.
