I didn't like the fact that I called before going toake sure that my service dog was welcome and I was told he was but wasn't told that there would be a 100 dollar deposit. I wasn't prepared for that because I didn't think anyone charged for a service dog, maybe a pet; but pets weren't welcome either. I had 85 cash is all I had and I was turned away. That left me walking down a dark road at night in a bad part of town looking for another room to stay. I found one down the road it cost 85 that I had. The room was so bad. It had a couch that looked like it was pulled from the dump, 1960's mattresses, holes in the bedspread, and I went to sleep with my head hung over the side of the bed watching a rat run around the room. The next morning I called to talk to the person in the office and was told that there was no deposit for my service dog. So with that being said, I went back there and tried again for a night. I was told once again that there was a deposit for 100. That made me really angry. They wouldn't give me a refund. Telling Expedia that there was no deposit for service dog. Only to lie to stope from a refund. Not a good place at all. Bad people in bad environment they'd get a 0 out of 10 from me.
The check-in process was quick and easy. The room was not real clean. There was cigarette ash on the floor, hair on the floor in the bathroom, burn holes in the blanket, and the fridge was a little dirty. The room didn't have a TV remote.
It was great we liked it. It was very safe and we enjoyed the funny guy at the desk. He was real helpful to say that they were just there to protect us.
