What a beautiful and super clean home. Communication with the host made everything more enjoyable and pleasant. Host thought of everything possible that we could need and then some. The rooms were beautifully decorated and looked like right out of a magazine. There were extra blankets and pillows in every room. The kitchen and bathroom has everything you need. It was such a pleasure to relax in this home. If you want to fish or crab, they are kind enough to lend you their fishing and crabbing gear. So close to beach and marina. Neighbors were very nice. Everything was perfection. Definitely our new favorite vacation location. 10 is not good enough. We give it a 10

Had a great relaxing time, the house was clean and very comfortable! The owner left us a delicious loaf of zucchini bread and the fridge was stalked with creamer and milk for all our coffee needs! Will look forward to visiting again!

Jeff and Melanie have created an oasis that provides MORE than all the luxuries of home! They have thought of everything! Picture perfect

What an incredible stay! Every image was 100% accurate. The house was immaculate and the town was quaint and rustic-exactly the type of peace and quiet that we needed. Even the locals were so warm and friendly. Highly recommend the local restaurant at the end of the island, The Charlesworth!! I fully intend to stay here again soon!

Perfect coastal getaway...doesn't even feel like we were in NJ!

Jeff was great in his communication, tips, advice, and local information that he shared with us prior to our check-in. This was very helpful, and I only wish we had more time to have explored the area more, but we were taking a weekend course at Wheaton Arts. The home was just as pictured, well stocked, tastefully decorated, and everything was really wonderful. Perfect for the girls' weekend that we had! Will definitely return. Thanks for being great hosts!

Amazing stay all around

My family and I stayed at Eagles Nest when my son had a soccer tournament in Pittsgrove. I can not say enough about how nice the house is and how much thought the owners have put into stocking the house to make sure our every need or potential need was met. There was a gallon of milk and various creamers waiting for us when we arrived. Towels, beach chairs fishing poles, board games, clothes detergent...the list is long. I was explaining the hospitality we were receiving to another soccer parent and I was asked "are you staying with a friend?" The owner was always reachable even to ask where we should go to dinner. I highly recommend Eagles Nest to anyone.

Bayside getaway

Nice little house in a sleeping fishing village that was cozy and welcoming. Great communication, a friendly welcome with home made pumpkin bread and nicely stocked coffee bar. Beds were comfortable and we enjoyed our short stay for a nice weekend away

Peaceful Getaway

From the time we walked into “The Eagle Nest” we were in awe. From the location, cleanliness, and view of the ocean to the sunrise and sunset. The host was always in communication with me and available if we needed them. This was a much needed peaceful getaway. Thanks again.

Scenic & Cozy

This is my second stay at this place and for good reason, it's tidy, the host is helpful and understanding and it's a short walk to the shore. The home is clean and comes with ample linens. The host was accommodating and able to help us when we had a concern about arrival time. Amenities were as listed and photos provided were accurate. I will be back here next year it's a great property at a great location perfect for board gaming and going to the shore with friends.

Big note: There is a cool old grandfather clock that dings loudly every hour from 4am to 11pm. If you have small children that will wake from this beware. Also NO TV IN THE LIVING ROOM. Our stay was in winter time so it was too cold to go to the beach so stuck inside a lot. This is great for a romantic get away but not if you have 3 bored kids. The coffee maker was literally taped together as well. So hope you enjoy no sleep and no coffee.Property was clean and the beach was nice. Property owner asked for cash for an extra night (which I appreciated) and I paid via Zelle which they take. Now while I'm driving home they are texting me complaining about finding a remote and a fly swatter which they found and glass (which I apologize a plate broke and I cleaned it. I have no problem paying you more on Zelle for the plate.) Overall feeling annoyed and just want to go home.

Eagles nest was a wonderful experience. The owners Jeff and Melanie were awesome hosts. They had everything possible to make your stay feel like home. Clean, comfortable and peaceful are just a few words to express our restful stay. My husband recently had knee replacement surgery and being close to the bay was such a relaxing time for him
