The cabin itself is really nice. The location is good and access was easy. A few things in terms of comfort should be addressed as soon as possible. The pillows on all of the beds were completely flat, therefore making them uncomfortable to sleep on. The pillows in the living room area were the same. When we arrived, there was a pile of dirty linens on the washing machine. When I contacted the property manager, she was efficient in getting back to me and handled the issue the next morning which was appreciated. Simple things such as tissues in the bathrooms would have been nice. Overall, the stay was a good one! We had a nice time and with only a few, inexpensive improvements, the cabin would have gotten 5 stars.

Plenty of space for everyone. Amenities were nice. My issues were the hair all over the bedding and towels and toilets, and cobwebs under the stairs and between the downstairs bed and nightstand. And there were spots all over the walls in the bathroom around the sink area that looked like toothpaste splatter? I feel like the stairs could have had more security measures in place for small kids. They can be very dangerous if you’re not careful. They seemed to have some kind of fabric tie thing but one was broke and the other didn’t seem to have all the pieces? The swing on the deck was extremely stretched out and not useable. No bathtub. Or detachable shower head. I had to give my 2 year old a bath in the kitchen sink. Overall it was fine for what we needed it for which was a place to sleep.

Good. The door handle on the outside of the sliding glass door was missing. That made it hard to close the door from the deck. The dehumidifier was not working efficiently as it seemed humid inside. While we were there the power went out due to lightning. We understand that nature cannot be controlled..

Wonderful stay!

We had a great week at this cabin! Easily accessible just off the valley floor! Clean and perfect for us! The spiral steps can be a little difficult to navigate but not too bad. One bedroom on the main level was convenient.

Mountain Retreat

We really enjoyed the chalet! It was very clean, the kitchen had everything we could possibly need, and the deck overlooking the forest and mountains was really pleasant. We felt very comfortable, during our two week stay. The only suggestion for improvement would be adding a handle to the outside of the slider, to make it less difficult to open.

Cutest cabin with beautiful view

The driveway was a little hard to find in the dark, but once we found it the cabin was perfect. Our kids loved having their own little loft and beds. The fireplace made for a perfect place to settle in after a long days play on the snow tubing hills. They had coffee for the coffee maker to get us started for a few days and soap in the shower. The morning view from the porch was perfect. Would definitely come and stay again.

Perfect place for my solo trip!

The location was awesome overlooking Peeks Creek with some good Mountain Views. Felt private & secluded without sacrificing convenience of paved roads and nearby Highlands Rd. Loved the windows in the great room, gas fireplace/stove & covered parking. Thank you!

Overall, good for the money! Beds are comfy & kitchen adequate. Spiral staircase a concern for toddlers & small children, but its a chalet!

Cozy cabin in a quaint location

The cabin was the perfect size for my girlfriend and I, though it would have been great for a family as well. The location was tucked away nicely, but close enough to Franklin that anything we needed was nearby. We would love to come here again!

Wonderful cabin, wonderful area

We loved staying at the Chalet. The cabin was spacious and clean, with plenty of space to be together, or to have quiet time/privacy. The location was great; we felt secluded, but safe. So many beautiful lookout points, trails, hikes, and GEM MINES! Highly recommend.

Beautiful Views and a bad bed

There was not a bad view from any of the property. The chalet is beautifully situated on the property between three mountain tops. It would have been a perfect rip had there been enough linens for our guests (without sleeping adult sisters in the same bed) and a comfortable bed for us on the lowest level. The king bed on the lower floor is past its use-by date and should be replaced. We referred to it as the marshmallow or the hammock. If you can avoid using the lower level for sleeping this is a very nice location.

Not Pleased

This was not the customer service and cleanliness I am accustomed to from VRBO!!! A local company apparently owns or manages this home. There was dog hair in all the carpets. The towels were “car wash” rags thin!! There was something inside those that caused a rash on our entire family. I tried to reach out to customer service and got dismissive answers. Was so bad we left a day early!!
