Pleine lune sur Harraseeket, Freeport, Maine - Rabais pour septembre/Oct. -7 nuits

Une petite maison sur la riviÚre Harraseeket, prÚs de South Freeport Harbor est bien approvisionnée et décorée. Il est disponible à la location à la semaine en juin, juillet et août.
Cette annĂ©e, nous proposons des locations (3 nuits minimum) en septembre et octobre. Une location d'hiver est Ă©galement une option. Tout en restant sur la riviĂšre, vous aurez peut-ĂȘtre la chance de vivre une pleine lune. Certains d'entre nous croient qu'il n'y a rien de plus joli qu'une pleine lune sur le Harraseeket.

Un canot ou un kayak peut ĂȘtre lancĂ© directement depuis la cour avant. La riviĂšre Harraseeket est agrĂ©able pour le kayak, ainsi que la porte d'entrĂ©e du port de Freeport et de la baie de Casco. À seulement cinq minutes se trouve le centre-ville de Freeport, oĂč se trouve LL Bean et de nombreux points de vente bien connus. De Freeport, vous ĂȘtes bien placĂ© pour faire des excursions d'une journĂ©e vers de nombreuses plages et villes cĂŽtiĂšres du Maine. À Freeport, vous avez Wolf Park State Park et Winslow Park pour en profiter. Portland est Ă  seulement 30 km pour accĂ©der Ă  la vie urbaine ainsi qu'aux ferries pour les Ăźles de Casco Bay.

This was a very comfortable house for our family of 5. A great backyard with a lovely water view. The interior of the house is much nicer than the pictures. I loved having my morning coffee looking out the wall of windows to the water. The kitchen is small but functional, and the deck provides a really nice outdoor dining space. Freeport shops are a very short drive. We enjoyed kayaking from the nearby state park and town boat launches. We’d definitely recommend this rental.

Beautiful Property, missing water access

The home, the neighborhood, the view, even the weather were all spectacular. Perfect for a Maine getaway with access to parks and shopping. We had everything we needed in the home, even coffee! The one major downside was virtually no water access. The house, sitting 20 feet above the water with a very steep slope to a small marsh made water access impractical, which was a large part of why we were visiting. Other than access there was pet hair and many personal items in many areas making it clear we were staying in someone’s house rather than a vacation home. That said, the host was very kind and accommodating in every way making our stay feel very welcoming. We would likely return if we had access easy access to the water and a place to fish.

Family vacation

Perfect spot! Great view, perfect to stay on and relax and great location. Within minutes of shops and coffee. Kayaks can be delivered straight to your door. Check in and out was very easy. Clean space.

Very nicely furnished in a great location

The cottage is small, sunny, and comfortable with a large loft and lovely view from the back deck. We enjoyed eating outside amid the flowering plants and watching many birds come and go. The neighborhood is pleasant for walking and it is an easy walk to a tidal beach. The kitchen has everything you might need and the AC is a bonus on really hot days.

Anne's Cottage Stay

The cottage has a welcoming atmosphere with comfortable and attractive furnishings. The kitchen is small but well equipped. There is a lovely peaceful view of the harraseeket River on the back deck where we ate many meals. The cottage is a 6 minute drive to Freeport and qiute conveniently located to the excellent Bow Street Market. Annie is a great host.

Wonderful place to stay in Freeport

The cottage was the perfect place to stay with my two daughters (8 & 10). They had the entire loft to themselves & i got my own room. It was the perfect size & we didn't even need to use the downstairs bed. Even though our week was rainy, I still woke up to a gorgeous view of the water each day. It was located close downtown Freeport & Bow Street Market. We hopefully will be staying next year as well!

Beautiful scenery

Property was beautifully maintained, as well as clean and very well equipped with items to start your stay. Including the convenience of being so close to Downtown Freeport, and Portland was short drive away. We would definitely stay again especially for the views.

Great place to unwind!

My husband and I and our two sons stayed for about a week at the house while attending a family reunion. It was lovely! The view to the water is so peaceful and gorgeous. We kayaked a few times and mostly took it easy on the deck talking and eating at the table. The house is comfy and decorated beautifully. Annie was so easy to work with and very responsive to questions. We would definitely go back.

Wonderful location

The cottage is small, very comfortable, has everything you need, and the view is just beautiful (my computer background has already been updated with a photo I took of the backyard and river). The location is great! So close to Freeport shopping, restaurants, and Maine Brewing. The drive to Portland is quick and easy. Would stay here again!

Coastal Maine at Its Very Best

This was our fourth visit to this property, and there is nothing we don't love about it. It's become a part of our summer planning. The cottage is cozy and immaculate, and has everything our family of four needs for a perfect vacation. The kitchen is well stocked and works perfectly for us; our girls get their own bedroom spaces downstairs and in the loft; and the green space outside is phenomenal (so many birds!). Location could not be better for trips to Portland, Brunswick, Popham, Rockland, and, of course, Freeport shopping. Anne is a fantastic communicator and an extremely generous host. You will not be disappointed. This is a true GEM.

Perfect location

We spent a week using our little sailboat in Casco Bay and this was the perfect spot for our family. Gorgeous views. Wonderful deck and fire pit. Cozy and comfortable all the way around. A nice quiet neighborhood but close to the grocery store and downtown if shopping is your thing. We’d definitely stay again!

Beautiful cottage and wonderful owner. Our THIRD visit!

Our family of four loves this property. This year was our third visit. Beautiful, quiet neighborhood, lovely furnishings, and everything you need to feel at home. The view from the deck and the sounds of birds in the surrounding trees are sublime. Open the sliding door and enjoy the fresh air blowing in through the screen all day long. Five minutes to downtown Freeport. Easy drive up to Brunswick or down to Portland. This is "Downeast" perfection, and you couldn't ask for a more gracious, helpful owner.

As advertised!

My wife and I had a great time relaxing at Annie's place! Clean, comfortable, and accurately described in the listing. Great location, very quiet and peaceful. Great internet connection for those unfortunate enought to have to work while you're there, but instantly on vacation once you hit the deck or the fire pit!
